(late) Update! (Patreon)

Apologies for the delay in my update, I had a busy day yesterday ;-; But anyways, This week has been filled with questions about how to proceed with my novel and how to present it to you all. As a first-time author of a massive book, I'm learning a lot, but I've come to realize that it's not quite ready for weekly releases. Instead, I'll be updating Patreon weekly and releasing a monthly update for the book to the public.

The reason for this is simple: I've read Chapter 1 hundreds of times, and it's still not perfect in my eyes. I haven't even touched Chapter 2.5 except to cringe at a few bits and pieces and make it semi-presentable. My original plan was to give you all a main draft and then fix any grammatical mistakes once Chapter 4  was released and all the characters were introduced. But seeing everyone's reaction to the two chapter made me feel guilty about making you suffer through a rough draft. You deserve to enjoy my work to the fullest extent possible.

And so, I've decided to take some extra time to perfect the book before releasing it. I'll keep you all updated on my progress each week, but the final product will be released at the end of each month (with weekly updates for Patreon supporters!) Now, let's get to this week's accomplishments!

I wrote a total of 7K words this week (yes, the same as before, I'm still trying to increase my daily word count!). The main book is now at 114,564 words, and the short story is now at 3,787.

While I did spend around 2K words improving sentence structure and making the book better, my goal is still to reach Chapter 4 as soon as possible.
