Reflections on 2024, how we did, how I think we can improve.

High Level Thoughts+ some great investigations, both influencers and high impact stories featured+ voidzilla was an unexpected hit and provided a good mix of quantity/quality between the channels+ real world results (like CFTC enforcement on Safranko)- too much time and resources on the Coffeezilla movie- fighting frivolous (imo) lawsuit

For 2025Doubling down on high-impact investigative journalism.

Great year! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. As someone who isn't deeply into crypto, I still find them very engaging. It would be awesome to see more content beyond crypto, as it could appeal to a broader audience and attract new viewers as well! I think you mention gaming in your last AMA video.

I can't believe logan's "waived claims" refund promise was this year. it feels so long ago that I actually believed he would refund the victims if for no other reason than save face. This cryptozoo stuff should have been hashed out long ago considering he didn't actually deliver a game. There's no reason why that should still be dragging on but here we are.

You don't know what you don't know, and I think the movie was your chance to get super creative, and I think it would have performed better but it kind of got overshadowed by immediately getting sued by Logan Paul right after.

I think you should also be posting on a fb page. You can make more money even with way less views. I got lucky with one a few years back and it was the best thing ever happened to me. Once I started making money directly from Facebook, I studied their policies and made it a goal in point to learn all I could about the platform. I now have many pages and consistently get invited to things like the performance bonus program and the content monetization program and you would be invited to the ads on reels and as well as content monetization probably and there’s one more with reels

I beg to differ: Voidzilla wasn't a happy accident; it was a hasty accommodation. It proved that the main dish is the journalism (including the opinion pieces = the rants), that's what people come to you for. It gets a lot of views, but it detracts from your brand by being visibly low-effort.

Nah, yes we could do another big investigation instead of the movie but then we would have a shitty half baked movie that you would regret making at all. I think if we had more output for the same amount of time, like a 3 part series or something it would feel like less time was wasted.
