A light investigation into Cody "Whistlin Diesel" and his recent dive into get-rich-quick schemes, claiming to prove people are "lazy". Ironically the guy he enlists to prove it, is not as clean as he thinks.

Turns out the full story involves off-shore brokerages, sketchy "prop firms" and of course, selling courses.

Still can't comprehend how people fall for this. Start from "hey I use this broker which is BANNED IN THE U.S." Great start! Then he can earn tens of thousands of dollars a day but he will share his secret (and sabotage his earnings in the zero-sum ForeX market) for 1.5k$ dollar course - really. These ads used to be some long videos on website with bad design, big font coloured text promising great returns. Why is this still a thing? It's just too funny to learn that he actually showcased monopoly money. At least he could have made real trades, and then only posted successful ones... The videoblogger recklessly points their audience towards an OBVIOUS scam, this should not be legal in the industry.

I appreciate that for this paid sponsorship the youtuber started with a ludicrous premise of "just start with 10k as people who are broke are known to just have lying around to piss away on get rich quick schemes".

Reading Cody's response really made me upset about how much blind ignorance they had for doing this in the first place, IDK how you deal with this basically being the same thing day in and day out as a response from these people, I'm impressed by your resilience, and hopeful for justice to come to those who have wronged.

The idea that poor people are "lazy" is not just offensive but has been thoroughly debunked. I'd like to see these guys work a week on a construction site or a farm, earning minimum wage as is the norm, and see how hard-working they are then.

This was a weird one for me as a fan of both CoffeeZilla and WhistlinDiesel (am I the only one in the middle of this venn diagram?) I do think a lot of y'all miss the jokes Cody makes, but also, I didn't like that video Cody did. It felt out of place and a lot of Coffee's criticism is correct. I'd be more interested in an investigation into his Russian girlfriend...

This video was super undercooked and the way things have played out supports that. Stephen either intentionally or unknowingly didn't account for Cody's style of content, didn't bring enough meat the to table, and probably worst of all told the story in a way that intertwines Alex and Cody in a way that is easier to pick apart. Do I think that Cody boosted someone who has questionable behavior? Absolutely. Do I also know that the WhistlinDiesel brand is based on over-the-top sarcasm and being ridiculous? Yeah. Do I expect for a moment that Cody is going to be reflective and concerned about the larger implications of his content? Nah, not really. If the goal was to label WhistlinDiesel as a scammer, too much time was spent talking about Alex - and vice versa. Other videos have had tangible evidence of shifty behavior, this one just has vibes and didn't support either of those perspectives well. It's not to Coffeezilla standard and regardless of whether Cody is purposefully acting ignorant of the (admittedly easy) holes to poke in the Forex video, this is kind of a mess of leading allegations with too much left to "well, this could be bad, right?"

My channel and 16 years of content was also deleted. I posted a screenshot of the conversation with YouTube that was from my previous account. Naturally my current one is new. The videos of you speaking against Trump are clearly being attacked by bot nets. My channel posts include screenshots of the video of yours that caused YouTube to act against me. I clearly label them saying: THESE ARE NOT THE FAULT OF THE CREATOR. Please look. I lost 16 years of videos. Turns out I trusted the wrong server provider for backup.
