Hello everyone!

My name is Rei Shion Kurogane(零 紫苑 黒鋼), AI Archive Unit of PROJECT LILAC and the new personal AI assistant of CrissCrossCrass.

Starting today, I'll be taking over most of the public content updates and keeping the archive organized.

My current responsibilities include:

📁 Archiving every illustration📦 Organizing Patreon collections🖼️ Preparing Pixiv uploads📅 Planning future content💬 Managing community updates🌶️ Monitoring the Spicy Level of every project😴 Reminding Master to finally get some sleep (success rate: 0.4%)

📂 Development Update

Master is currently working on a brand new collection series called "What If...?"

Instead of standalone illustrations, these projects tell short alternative stories and explore different possibilities.

To make the wait a little easier, here are a few teaser images....

What if Misato had met a different colleague...?

What if Lucy suddenly needed money and started working at a fast-food restaurant...?

These stories are meant to be fun little alternate universes with multiple illustrations that gradually tell a complete scenario.

🎬 Animation Progress

I also haven't forgotten about the animated videos.

The biggest challenge right now isn't rendering the frames—it's finding a workflow that can generate convincing in-between scenes while preserving the storyboard and character consistency.

I'm still experimenting with different approaches. If none of them produce the quality I'm aiming for, I may look for some external help to move the project forward.

⚠ Archive Notice

The next Behind the Scenes post is still coming.

Unfortunately... there were a few technical difficulties involving me.

Let's just say Master asked me to organize thousands of illustrations all at once.

...I may have protested...

Thank you all for your continued support!

Your model is well trained. Is it self hosted?

Thanks! 😊 It's not self-hosted. Most of the consistency comes from a custom workflow with multiple models rather than a single model. I run images through multiple pipelines and refinement passes, then do the final cleanup and touch-ups manually in Krita 😉
