Updates for the game intro and title (0.2.1 preview) (Patreon)

Hello guys and gals!

Today I want to show you some updates to the game intro and title screen, that will be part of version 0.2.1.

Each girl gets a profile screen which you can check out when you start a new game and Joy talks with you for the first time in the HI Inc. building.The profile screen will have 4 preview images that can be enlarged and a short introduction for each girl where they say "Hi".

The overview screen shows the tiers of the girls (which Joy explains in the intro) and also the achievements available for each girl.

Joy gets some additional poses and better renders in the intro.

And finally, the title screen gets a a video where a girl takes a walk at the beach, showcasing a lot scenes from the game. (Many thanks to a friend for creating this fine video!) 

The updates to the intro will be great addition for new players to make it easier to select the starting girls and to see who has a lot of content. It will also make the girls a little more human.Maybe it encourages some of seasoned players to start a new game too.As always, everyone stay safe and healthy and enjoy the preview.Darkhound

Thanks. The news is still the same, no date yet. When I know better, you can find the date at the usual place, on the current development news.

As i can see, girl's tier depends on her popularity/amount of content. So probably girl's tier can change over time, is it?

I don't know if the preview pictures should show a girl topless. I like that you have to work for that image. Maybe it's okay f it isn't out of character, but Yvette is pretty sensitive about flashing you when there are other girls around, and it doesn't seem like she'd just pass a picture like that around,

It is possible to edit your posts, Please press on the 3 dots "..." and then the pencil in order to edit. Then delete (the 3 dots and then the paper bucket icon) the no longer needed posts. If you would like to have your questions presented nicely on a new line each, you can hold down shift and then press enter. This will give you a new line to write on and allow one question pr. line for a nice and easy to read format. Please note. I do not say this to correct your posting (people can do as they wish) but simply because it is useful info that I was myself happy to learn and have had much use of since and make it more likely the developer answers :)

Right now yes, that's basically all it does at the moment. There will be more uses later on. All will be content related in one way or another. For example the max love/affection quests. Not every girl will get such a long quest line as Amy. Only the tier 1 girls will.

It was a mandatory requirement from Joy. They had to do it to let the player see what he gets. Not all girls were happy about it, but in the end they all had to agree. It's an interesting point in any case, that can be used for smalltalk with some of teh girls in a future version. The MC asking how it happened that e.g. Yvette has a topless "promo" picture.

She's the presenter of the island. She doesn't have any other significance right now.

That's good! I'd love to have that backstory in the game! Maybe every shy girl (Aly, Renee, Yvette, etc.) could have an embarrassed look (like when Renee covers her face in her toothbrush visit) when you ask them about the image. Then she could say, "Oh no! She actually did show it to you." Then tell how Joy required it before she was allowed to come to the island.

Is the animation going to replace the advice to stay hydrated on the opening screen? Or will you only see it when you start a new game?

I suppose it's nice for new players to be told that the tier 1 girls have a lot more content than the tier 3 girls, but I don't think that Lacey is going to like being called a tier 3 girl.

None of the two. The animation and the "Holiday Island" title screen will be alternated after some seconds.

The little arrow pointing to the left below a post is the "reply" button. It's easier for the person you reply to if you use that one :)

Amy's quest is 570 images + huge amount of code and writing. It took 4 months of full time work to make. To make such a huge quest for 15 girls would take years and more than 8500 images (more than the game has in total now) and if the 5 special girls where added it would take upwards of 5 years and over 11000 images. It is impossible to do As for the tiers, they are based on more than 2½ years of patreon polls, popularity votes and game history. They are by definition just. And who says a tier 2 is bad? Eva gets content big time.
