Bug list:

The number of days a girl is on the island is not shown on the phone's details page for each girl -> fixed with changes to "gui_screens.rpyc"

You have to click once when the text "Initializing game" is shown, which is not very intuitive -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"

When Amy is your plane girl, you see first her "Amy plane girl scene" and after that a black screen and the generic plane girl dialog -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"

When Joy shows you the Island you see nothing or the island in black and white -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"

You could not advance Eva's breast enhancement quest line through talking with her at the beach, because a part of the code is missing. -> fixed with changes to "loc_beach_eva.rpyc"

When you take a walk on the beach with Renée and she's wearing her bikini (not the skimpy version) and you ogle her breasts, pictures are missing -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.1

How to apply a quick fix file?Open the folder where you installed Holiday Islands. Then navigate down to the folder named "game". Copy the file there and if asked, confirm to overwrite the file.

I get errors when going to the doctor or assigning a girl for doctor duty. I use a game i last used in 3.8.1

What error? I need a crash report file to check it. Please upload it somewhere and post the link.

It works with a different savegame. I assume the error occured, because I asked for a "desire and wishes appointment" right after loading and the checkup "collided" with this.....

Found a typo: In the lab sequence OP says "You took on of your pills, right?" I assume it's supposed to be "one" ;-)

Question I can't seem to play and when I open the game it crashes. Not sure if it's the mac that I have or not

Another bug: after the event Player_room_sailboat_invite the easteregg (I had not found) was overlayed on the background of my room and even stayed when I moved to the beach. If you want I can provide a savegame of that event.

It's a save game loading issue. Not all states can be recovered unfortunately.

My hard drive ate itself a while ago, so I'm starting completely fresh. I downloaded and extracted it, then started the game. Two problems: - When Joy shows me the island "on her laptop" I don't see any images, just white. I don't know if that's a placeholder or if something's supposed to be there. - After I sign the paperwork and go home, it shows an hourglass and "initializing game". It never stops - I've waited more than 5 minutes and nothing further. My machine is not exactly a potato, so something's wrong. I'm not sure if there is a crash report to send though. Where would it be? This did happen with my previous install, but at that point restarting the game moved it through that. I've done that and the same thing happened again, so it's unlikely to work this time.

When the text "Initializing game..." appears you have to click with the mouse once. Not very intuitive. I will change that.

It doesn't really tell me anything. You can try to delete the persistent file from both locations. 1) inside the folder where you installed the game - in the "saves", there is a file named "persistent" - delete it. 2) ~/Library/RenPy/game_directory -> "game_directory" should be "Island-1499865023" there is also a file named "persistent" - delete it too. After that try to start the game again.

I've got a problem playing poker with Amy. Before 4.0.0 I could play her once a day. Since the update she keeps blowing me off "played not long ago". Only when her stats are high and she spontaneously asks me to go to the green room I get to play after being denied for 4, 5 days....

The cooldown has always been 3 days for the poker game. If for whatever reason it wasn't like that before, it was a bug.

Additional observation: Jenniffer does get days on island, eg Daniela does not. Summary, some specials do, others don't. Is the distinction between specials that are regularly available for interaction and those that are not?

There is quite a trail leading to the boat trip. First, you have to overhear Miriam and Jennifer talking about it in the bar when Yumiko is bartending. Then, you have to find Miriam and Yumiko loading supplies into the dinghy to take to the boat. Then, (I told you it was quite a trail) you have to be invited by Jennifer. THEN you meet up with her and Amy for the trip. I just started it myself.

Request: if there is a counter for the times a girl is sent home, can you please display that in her stats? There are a number of arrival scenes where that is relevant. Specific case: I sent Renée home and then recalled her, but the second arrival scene didn't happen. I was wondering if somehow sending her off was lost in the stats.

The first arrival scene normaly needs to happen first. But it's not super consistent through the girls, since I created the scenes for different girls sometimes with years in between.

I found kind of a bug. It is possible for Heather to come to your room and ask for sun lotion and you can accompany her to the pool and apply lotion to her, while it's raining.

This is an older bug, but you might want to fix it all the same. In the night bar, when the MC goes to order a drink and flirts with Jennifer/Yumiko, there's a dialog line where the nametag is wrong. For ex: MC: Hi Yumiko! MC: You look especially gorgeous tonight *smiling* Sara: Thank you < -- here it should be "Yumiko" instead Yumiko: You shouldn't let Sara hear this *whisper*

I ran into a problem. The "ask to poledance" button does not show for Amy any more. I don't know when that happend, but even after a new installation and deleting the persistent file and starting the game from scratch it's not there, with or without the bugfix files. Anybody else got that problem?

Can’t get Eva’s enhancement quest to trigger. I added the quick fix file and it still does not trigger the quest. My stats are high enough. I’m on a Mac if that helps anything. I also saw another post saying to put “player.get_quest_state("Eva_breast_enhancement", eva)” in the console, I did that and it came back with a “-1”

It should work with the fix. You should get it during the beach wave scene where you get her a coke. If you want to start it manually, type in the console: player.add_quest("Eva_breast_enhancement", eva, eva)
