Gimoc dined on a modest cake last night for his 360th birthday, but he was overjoyed when i told him about all the Patrons who have shown up to support him (and the vast quantity of gemstones that will be arriving soon). We are very excited to get to work.

Just curious: what topics/concepts/things would you guys like to see comics about???

Make a comic featuring a dude with super killer sideburns. Like the best ones you've ever seen.

Bobby

+1 for sideburns man

Kendall Day

I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet but sideburns are just amazing.

Silke Ceulemans

I 'd love sketches or work in progress. Also sideburns.

Sam Reich

Personally, I love your world-building, so I'd love to see more comics that take place in the same world as other comics!

John Kestner

What if... god was one of us... with Killer sideburns?

Edward Steele

Bull/bear stock markets (also sideburns I guess?)

You are excellent at expressing in visually the feeling of disappointment/cynicism/discovering that beneath the feelings and thoughts we express to each other there are contradictory, inane, or self-motivated things. You then show the absurdity/bald-facedness of what is going on. Man, that sounded bad. But I mean it as a compliment. Your comics helped me grow up. And if I have to be disappointed/made cynical/have bad news broken to me, I am so happy to have it done by you - you're so funny, and skilled, somehow you have the perfect visual equivalent of comic timing. In this spirit - have you ever read the blog Overcoming Bias? Or encountered the idea of "signalling theory"? It is described in the book "The Elephant in the Brain" by Robin Hanson, author of Overcoming Bias. Robin is astonishingly good at saying things that are extremely cynical. You cannot get more cynical. He just does not care at all about "how we would like things to be", he is only interested in the way things are. He says many things that I disagree with; I mean, just because something is offensive doesn't mean it's right! But Robin is never, ever boring, and I admire his ability to be motivated entirely by curiosity. If you read his book, I'm sure it'll give you good ideas. SMBC's Zach Weinersmith is also a fan by the way, there are Hanson-esque smbc comics here and there

A guitar with a hole in the back so you can play with yourself through the guitar. That or sideburns.

Religion... after all, you're the one that drew Jesus in a miniskirt...

The great anti-skub cleansing

Just keep being you. That's why I love your work.

Characters who, despite trying their best, are really bad at what they're supposed to be good at. Like super villains, aliens taking over the world, wizards, fairies or that one troll that's supposed to not let anyone cross the bridge.

💎👑💎👑💎 HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIMOC! 💎👑💎👑💎 ... maybe more jokes about plants and fungi?? 🌿 🍄

Rémy Parasquive

I think a comic about the Trojan Horse could be really great !

Nils van Tol

Congratulations Grimoc!! I loved the chivalrous kitten Leo comic btw. Anyhow for new ideas I can only come up with melting sandcastle inhabitants as the sea comes nearer. Maybe animals being bitten by a spider and afterwards drawn wearing spidermans suits after. Lastly maybe a group of sunflowers turning with the sun, but one doesn't turn because he is like pensive or something
