Acrylic, ink, marker, colored pencil, gouache, on illustration board. Unofficial sequel to “b”

I'm adding a bonus comic here for Patrons! Came to be while I was adding a "4" to the background of first panel for the other social medias. It is perhaps inspired by the hearty banter in the comment section here about the evolution of language.

I like the dialog on the side between 8 (∞) and 9 :-D

I think it's great (reminds me of the 'Futurama' episode where Bender meets "The Masked Unit"), with one objection: *ANY* pronoun other than 'singular they', PLEASE. Don't board that train. I've always been in favor of a unisex pronoun, and experimented with some before it was hip to do so, but that one is just...don't get me started. As someone who actually cared about this sort of thing before Big SocMed pulled a Nicaea, it's just been profoundly disenchanting. Linguistic "descriptivism" is basically academic might-makes-right. In fairness, I know "It's IT" sounds super-awkward, and you could argue that a plural group IS being referred to (wouldn't be in the spirit anyway, though?), but...just please no. Of course, maybe you could do a subtle Python homage and just say "IT'S...."

Similar concept to the stickman turning into 'OK', love it

I just shared & deconstructed the B comic with my students yesterday! If your ears have been ringing, it may be because I’ve been using a lot of PBF strips to show how to use elements like repetition and hyperbole to show how to make a complex joke clear without overdoing it. :)
