As comic readers, we always see Tobias as he truly is in his demon appearance. Humans in their world sees his human guise instead with the exception of Guy and Diego who's medium ability allowed him to do so.

Halloween is the only time Tobias can be his demon form.

So if you all recall his encounter with the neighbor next door, just picture this himbo of a human face getting attacked by her cats.

I remember from earlier comics you would make him look human when he was around other people I was always wondering if he changed his appearance depending on the situation or just always look human to other people. Also love the music choice.

yeah, back then I haven't really decided what is the situation when he interact with other humans. So to keep it simple and for the sake of my own sanity, I decided to draw him in his demon form for these new strips all the way, no matter the situation calls for it.

It was probably the first strip, when they met in the park: Tobias looked like a devil while talking with Guy. then when guy accepted to go out on a date with him we see Tobias transforming into a human...

Ansixilus

Fascinating that the human guise has slightly different facial hair than the real demon.

To be honest, I am still unsure should I even add that odd detail to separate from his demon form. XD

I just love them🌿💕💕

I wonder if the cats can see his demon side all the time versus the old lady who could only see his human guise until Halloween

Allan Meyer

By Hades have a handsome himbo indeed.

Kind of a stupid headcanon thing, but I always thought it would be funny if he accidentally eats rosemary that his demon form becomes revealed to everyone else and that he takes great (laughable) pains to hide it. XD

David Perry

Aw, I kinda liked the magic realism.

Interesting. I’d have assume Tobias had access to powerful magic in order to shapeshift or disguise himself. But it’s sweet that Guy and Diego see Tobias for who he is.
