How much longer until this gets resolved?

Next chapter will be the first major step, and by the time we hit the finals it should be mostly taken care of.

I'm guessing Artorias being more offended by Phyrra than Jaune, and whatever that insult was, are going to act as a catalyst for her to actually start resolving this whole mess. Along with it being too late to change the plan now anyway. And Jaune certainly knows how to exit the stage in style ^^

While the fight was interesting, I’m still not understanding what the issue is here. Was this miscommunication supposed to be resolved by the other team this chapter? Because if it was, I’m still not getting it. With that said, the insult that went over our heads should be interesting to hear about in context next chapter.

Ah, maybe her "shaming"her childhood friends made her fear that she was leaving them behind and they would be just one more set of people to elevate her to a pedastal hurting all the more because they used to see her as an equal. It was a lingering childishness that part of her knew was irrational since she had Jaune and the teams, and so she couldn't tell outloud becuase "must not look like a weak child for my dragon". Uhm...so Super Teen Angsty Drama? Am I in the ballpark, Lee?

We have slight progress. I think this is the first time she said they were her friends, not just random people.

Little bit of yes, little bit of no. The problem is, ultimately, cultural in its base, but compounded a dozen different ways. The thing about Pyrrha is that she's a blank slate of a character in canon RWBY, with most people reading into her what they want to see, and in DR I'm trying to make her a person, with her strengths, yes, but also her weaknesses as well.

Celti B.

That was a very satisfying climax to the conflict with Pyrrha. It had been getting a bit frustrating but this chapter made it worth it. Definitely looking forward to the denouement.

Nicely done, I didn’t even think about the fact that team AONS being in the same field (and fighting along side) as ABYN as they had cut lose, would be the catalyst for damaging Pyrrha’s argument/stance. She ironically has the opposite issues fighting full out as Jauncifer. With him he doesn't use his 'Semblance' offensive in the arena/on competition due to not knowing how safe/what it does to people. He still doesn't know the effects though Cinder does. But, everyone knows it melts Grimm like cheap wax (plus the lava hazard) and respects avoiding the hazard. Pyrrha on the other hand not using it is blatantly saying 'I am treating this fight as a play fight and don't care if you know it.' Something somewhat OK on class spars but not in a major competition. Does she mean to probably not but these kind of mental hiccups have been showing.

The yours are correct, because you're = you are and that doesn't make sense. Otherwise, thanks, and fixed!

Meudon

I have no clue what I was thinking with that one. Keep up the great writing!
