Gah. I'm trying to read this, but mostly I just keep finding myself wanting to rip Canuck Thor's head off and take a leak down the hole.

OK, read now. Never played ER but can see why people love Melina.

El Lando

This has been the glimpse I wanted the most and I wasn't disappointed! I enjoyed this even more because I had fun elden ring session right before lol. Thank you!

Can't say I'm a fan of Lee getting consistently screwed over like this, or like when he was left on read last MG, much preferring the Stargate one (In part because we got tripped by the same thing Lee seemed to; Forgetting Universe was a thing), or even LAUGH, which was enjoyable Like it makes sense, given the Company are arseholes, but I like it when Lee is in a shitty situation because he's on a deathworld, or he made a mistake, or something to that effect 'Cause for all that ROBBY's are a part of the background Lore of these kinds of stories, the only realistic recourse when something that powerful fucks you, is to be backed by something equal, like Kencifer was, or to grit your teeth and hope for lube Either way, TFTC

this was written well but wasn't really interesting to me. It was just a series of fights and grinding really. I've only played demon souls and dark souls so maybe I'm missing the personal game experience to make this interesting. I enjoyed the Skyrim story, that was kinda similar, but Elden Ring suffers from the same lack of meaningful interactions (which was the central theme of the Skyrim one). I guess my main point is that I was interested in what happens next in the Skyrim story and not so much in this one.

The start and end of the chapter were fun but the mid parts were kinda boring, maybe it’s because I don’t know Elden Ring, maybe it’s the lack of character interactions or goal beyond going through the mentions to get Runes. It just read like someone was writing down their play through, granted there was a bit more personal element to it. But just not as captivating as the other stories. I find my assessment weird as Skyrim in principle was kind of similar, but in truth there was more going on. MC had to figure out the system and the whole weirdness going on was a thing. Here there is non of that, it’s just a a written role play of a Elden Lord play through if things were realistic. I expect things might change given some time or more aware characters, but the start was a slog to get through (read it over 3 separate sessions), compared to some of the other MG where I stayed up way past my sleep time on a work day to finish reading.
