I worked at a movie theater for 7 years and was my first job in high school and through college. We would put these fat ass hot dogs on heated rollers for 8, 9, 10 hours sometimes. And at the end of the shift I was so broke that I would eat them. They were the consistency of wet sand by that point and gave me the worst diarrhea of my life every single time.

Am friends with people who own an independent theater and I worked there for a year or so part time. Having that beer cooler behind you on the clock is dangerous. They host comedy events there every month in case y'all are ever near east Tennessee

What brought me joy this week was I just went to see Wicked with my parents and my dad went to pee but he opened the fire exit to the parking lot and blinded the entire theater with white hot daylight. He figured it out and went the other way but the door didn’t close right so I had to get up to fix it and the front row applauded me.

RunPee is my favorite app for when I am drinking liquids of various calibers and consistency at the movies. Simply select the movie you are watching and the app will sync the recommended pee breaks during easy to summarize low action and plot impact scenes. Usually 2-4 with a small summary to read on your way to and fro the bathroom. Even on airplane mode the timer still works so you can just feel the vibration notification and know now’s a decent time to urinate. I honestly like going to the movies on Tuesdays for the discounted price, just so I can go to the Applebees next to the theater before the movie and have a few double tequila sofas and then watch whatever, knowing the main attraction is using the app RunPee.
