The complete F1 2026 for Assetto Corsa EVO Season is here!
Our vision of Formula One’s next era, built around the new 2026 regulations, now brought to Assetto Corsa EVO.
A full grid of cars, with every 3D model created completely from scratch with no reused assets, featuring improved materials, higher accuracy, and more realistic details. Realistic engine sounds by Prophetimus, created from real onboard samples. Custom overtake systems, active aero, and fully reworked AI that fights, defends, and races properly, developed from community feedback and everything learned from previous season mods.
And now, on a new platform that promises to shape a complete racing ecosystem with an open world, our cars are ready to take the next step.
Brought to life by The Race Project.

2026 Regulation Philosophy – Implemented
• Smaller, lighter cars for improved agility• 50% ICE / 50% electric power unit, no MGU-H• 100% sustainable fuel concept• Active aero with low-drag and high-downforce modes• Strategic overtake and energy boost deployment• Enhanced energy recovery systems• Reduced ground-effect reliance• Lower drag concept for better overtaking• More standardized components• Sustainability and cost control focus
Tyre Detail Redefined
One of the most detailed tyre sets we’ve ever created, and honestly one of the most accurate seen in Assetto Corsa. From full wets to intermediates, the 2026 tyre set pushes realism further with precise engravings, reference lines, and subtle details inspired directly by their real-life counterparts.
🏁 Drivers & Tyres – Ready for the Track 🏁
Thanks to Assetto Corsa EVO’s more straightforward structure, all tyres are already ready to race straight away. Unlike AC1, there’s no need for a time-consuming installation process or manually moving tyre, driver, and pitcrew files between different folders.

⚠️Overtake Mode & Active Aero ⚠️
EVO doesn't run CSP or Lua, so there's no VRC Extended Controls app and the scripts themselves can't run there. Evo rebuilds the logic with EVO's own car systems instead:
Wing angles: your FWAngle / RWAngle script settings become the regular front and rear wing settings in EVO's setup screen. Same ranges and 0.1 step, defaults at 15 / 19.
Active Aero: it runs on EVO's own DRS button. When you press it, the front wing, rear wing and flap all go to their low-drag position, using the same values as DRS2026 table. It works anywhere on track since the car ignores DRS zones. It's manual only though: there's no way to express the auto mode (throttle + steering + delay) or the long-press swap in EVO's car data, because it has no timers or conditions.
Overtake mode: the four ERS maps (Overtake, Qualy, Race, Charging) come across as EVO deployment maps. The rules (race only, from lap 2, within 1 s of the car ahead) and EVO's car data can't see the session type, the lap count or the gaps. So in EVO, the Overtake map can be selected at any time.
──────────────────────────────────The only F1 2026 season mod featuring accurate Monaco wing specifications.
Alongside the most detailed and authentic special liveries, and continuous 3D updates throughout the season. (These will be added for EVO in version 4.0)
All Monaco-specific wing specifications, improvements made to the AC1 version — including physics updates, new car models, fixes, and other refinements — will be included in the upcoming AC1 v.4.0 and brought immediately to Assetto Corsa EVO.
As we adapt our existing work to this new platform, we’re aware that some issues may still be present in this initial EVO release. We’re learning how everything translates from our AC1 mods to EVO, and every improvement will be carried forward as we continue refining the experience.
Please keep in mind that physics may behave differently on the new platform. We’re also aware of some current issues with the main onboard camera; in the meantime, you can use the other onboard cameras by pressing F6. This will be addressed in the upcoming version. We’ll be continuously improving both the visuals and physics as we learn more about EVO, until we reach the level of quality and realism we’re aiming for.
Performance & Graphics Optimization ✅
If you're experiencing performance issues in Assetto Corsa EVO or want to improve your graphics quality, the EVO Performance app is highly recommended. It helps optimize performance and enhance your visual experience with just a few files added to your game.
