Monday Night War 3/25/96 Recap

Some unsolicited notes related to this episode. They are showing Diana Hart so much because they will be starting a program between Bulldog and Shawn that’ll begin about a month after ‘Mania and lead to the Beware of Dog and King of The Ring PPV’s. The premise being that Shawn is accused of making a pass at Diana by Cornette who famously calls Shawn a “fornicater”. Also, when Raw was taped, according to Cornette, Vince would make them record commentary live in the studio as the show was being broadcast so they could have up to date references to make it seem live. So that’s why they try so hard to make references to items in the news from that day. He would literally not let them go home on Monday so they could go live on commentary at 8pm to a recorded show. And now you know.
