I put it to you that The Rock was A+ on the mic from 1998 until the match against Hulk Hogan at WM18. His run after that was mid on the mic, with corny jokes and OTT segments with Cole and Coachman. Then he left and came back from time to time, but he hasn’t really been that good as a promo since. He tries too hard. His recent run has been a disaster. His presence is cumbersome and totally counterproductive. The Rock is boring now. Your thoughts on that?

Anytime punk cuts an amazing promo, about how he’s the devil or just will beat someone’s ass, I just can’t get over the fact that he got destroyed in the ufc. I listened to the new Raw Recap podcast that the WWE started today, and they had Rollins on. The podcast is sort of kayfabe, but Rollins said the steel cage match is the perfect way to end their feud. It was a fun listen, but not nearly as entertaining as Wrong Wrestling 😬
