I certainly can agree about the fact that a layperson will find it almost impossible to read a scientific paper and understand it. I have a BS in Nursing, read quite a few popscience books for fun and thought a subscription to the journal Nature would be a nice thing to have. I got the first issue and it might have well been written exclusively in Latin. I was lost in the abstracts! All these losers babbling anout doing their own research are idiots. When my Mom was dying of cancer, my sister-in-law supposedly did "hundreds of hours of research" on COVID vaccinations causing "turbo cancer" that can miraculously be helped by ivermectin. WTF. She's got a doctorate in economics so you'd think she's not a complete moron. I wanted to ask her to ask her Google the same question about turbo cancer and ivermectin that I'd ask mine and see the difference between the search results. Research my ass.

Another thing, regarding some trump voters who may be experiencing a feeling of sunken costs this election, I want a campaign slogan aimed at them. It would remind them that voting is private and there is nothing stopping them from continuing to claim to be pro trump then secretly vote for Biden. Then pretend be publicly and nonviolently miffed when Biden wins.
