I'm a type 1 diabetic and all this talk of good lives is extremely unfair and stressful. In fact, this entire healthcare bill is scaring me to death. Right now I have health insurance, but I don't know what will happen in 2018. Insulin is so expensive in the US that I could fly to Europe, buy a 6 month supply of insulin, and fly back to Chicago for less than the cost of one month's insulin in the states. If insurance is too expensive next year, I may end up flying to Europe twice a year. What else can I do? I don't want to die. And Tom is right, you cannot go to the emergency room for insulin shots
