I've just returned from my rejuvenating vacation in Seattle. While there, I bought my first pads of Toned Gray paper, in the tradition of artists going back to the Renaissance. Suddenly inspired, I did a string of ink-and-white sketches in one night! These are some of them. (The Blick Art Store in Seattle is at 1600 Broadway, the same address as the Fleischer studio in NY!)
