I am at work on yesterday's pose in a painting. I am exaggerating the pose; having her bend with her mood. Operatic, overwrought.

I am using a slightly different approach I am very happy with. Normally I penciled over a dark surface with white chalk; It took memory to retain the drawing, and I often lost it behind the paint. This time I'm firmly establishing on a white surface with black chalk, whiting out parts with gesso to fix them and add tone as well...
