Apple is gonna start up charging 30% to those that have their subscription via Apple IOS. I do not see this money at all, so consider canceling and resigning up via web browser in order avoid the price hike 👏

(If you signed up online/through a browser than this should not affect you at all)

Only if you purchased the subscription using the app! You can purchase the subscription on browser and still be logged in on Apple device/app and everything works fine.

Okay. So I went on my laptop and cancelled, then resubbed to all my creators right after. This gets around that charge, right? can i still view stuff through the app or now just on browser?

Your good to view Still on the app! It’s all about point of subscription sale. On browser/web it’s handled by Patreon. On iOS it’s handled though the App Store. As long as your account is attached to the app your viewing shouldn’t have any problems

Shouldn’t be! The only issue I am aware of is if you purchased the subscription via the app on your device rather than through the browser/web. Both purchases allow you to view the same stuff on the app, just one will have a price hike tho.

I don’t know when the transition exactly happens exactly but soon people I imagine will see the price difference listed on the app only (which hopefully doesn’t affect new peeps joining 😭). It’s a a very cumbersome update on apples part
