This one burned me out halfway through and I just wanted to share what I did rather than forcing myself through it

I think the previous video I made reminded me how much I like doing little spur of the moment projects just because I want to, not because I said I would. Thats not to say that I DONT like the videos Ive been doing, I like all the videos I do, but maybe some more than others... and sometimes I just bite off more than I can chew, which doesnt help considering Im learning as I go

Going forward, I would like to focus on shorter spicy videos that most strongly appeal to me, at least until I gain more confidence in my ability to create. And tbh, if what Ive making already largely appeals to you, then nothing really changes 😉

Not gonna lie, this is very disappointing. The Khajiit femboy was the character that made me subscribe, and I've been looking forward to another scene with him for over eight months now. I was extremely excited when he won the last poll, and now this happens. Do you plan on going back and finishing it?

Im sorry, the options were either I push through it, burn out and hate everything or come back to it much later when I feel more confident with it. I will finish it but for now I dont want to look at the project anymore

It is what it is. I just wish you wouldn't have done a poll if you weren't prepared to be committed to it. I thought it was something you wanted to do. Hell, you even responded to a comment I made when voting opened up and I was psyched for the male Khajiit to win.

I will admit, while I am disappointed things turned out the way they did, I am content that the project isn't dead in the water and managed to at least get a partial release. Because lets be honest, so many would've just killed and deleted the entire thing. It also seems like you coming back and finishing it in the future is still a possibility, so that's a plus. Who knows, maybe with time what comes out if you do return will be better than what would have came out otherwise. Anything is better than forcing it and burning out.

Avoiding burnout is a pretty big deal. While I appreciate the work that goes into something like this I personally actually prefer your shorter less serious scenes. Most important is create what you're actually inspired to create and don't force yourself to finish something that just isn't clicking. At least in my opinion.

Im not clairvoyant and it is something I wanted to do but the video itself wasnt up to my standards and the character would be back in other videos regardless

Thank you for understanding, maybe scope creep got me a little bit, but when I tried to reduce the scope it fell a bit flat. This felt like a better option, and if I want to quietly work on it in the background with no pressure I can do that

I mean, we still got what we wanted, got to see our Khajiit getting clapped! I think you did the right move of dropping it midway, not that the video ain't good, it's quite excellent, but if you're tired of it, quality will suffer, You will be displeased of the result and we might notice a decrease of quality. Move on to something more interesing and everybody wins! (except our Khajiit, he's been left hanging, prefect fate for a maso, huhuhu)

And I will come back to it anyway. I probably could have finished it but it would have taken a lot more time and wouldnt have left me in a great state afterwards. Even if I was putting out other videos in the meantime, constantly delaying it was eroding me. Now I have extra time to improve how I handle videos, which will increase animation quality across the board 😌

Out of curiosity, outside of just nsfw sprites and stuff, do any of the modlists you are playing on (for any Scrolls game) have actual NSFW stuff or is it mostly suggestive?

For daggerfall, nsfw mods exist (ie, the red lantern guild) but its text only. Im not aware of much lewd stuff for morrowind or oblivion outside of suggestive things, I think its mostly prominent in skyrim which I dont really play

Glad you realised early on to not forget why you are doing all of this in the first place. Seeing an artist lose passion or love for what they do is always disheartening, doubly so if they feel like they need to do it for their audience.

I really appreciate this <3 I admit I was expecting a bit more backlash like I wasnt allowed to mess up even once without being seen as a failure, but I think that mindset is from a minority of people and most care about me as a creator and not just what I upload and it means a lot 🙏

I meant to include ass squish as well but it gets really messy having so many layers, davinci resolve is not really practical to use for this. I will need to find a different program to animate in but it comes with its own set of problems
