Recently I posted a video where I tested the 15 best strategies over the 2022 bear market. There I concluded that the LUNA/USDT dataset was unreliable for future tests. Therefore I downloaded a completely new set of data, including a new pair (ZEC/USDT) for future testing.

This post contains my new dataset and configs to do these tests in 2023.

Note that you can use this directory if you also use Docker. If not, then copy the user_data directory or the individual files to your own Freqtrade environment.

P

would you mind sharing some small details on how you set this up? I see there is a dockerfile: docker/Dockerfile.jupyter also which is not included in these files. I came across Jupter before and it seems a nice way to run your backtest. just hobby guy trying to get a good way to do backtest with freq trade. <3 your efforts inspirational!

First of all sorry for not responding so quickly, I just saw your question. About the jupyter file. According to the Freqtrade developers there is a docker file that also contains a jupyter server(https://www.freqtrade.io/en/stable/docker_quickstart/#data-analysis-using-docker-compose) for further analysis. I mainly use jupyter for developing a new strategy and code it. But the real backtesting i leave to the bot. It's not included because I do not use this docker file but installed Jupyter separately. Hope this helps.

Good morning and thank you for sharing. Great work.

Question: Is this the dataset that you are using on your latest posts? (The Gumbo, The Lazybear, etc). If not, where can I find the current dataset? Thank you for all your help.

Dutch Algotrading

Hi, yes this is the latest dataset. I am not updating since I then cannot really compare the algos performance with each other anymore.
