Hello my dear Patrons,

Here another post from me where I provide you the results of the tests I did of the wave trend oscillator trading strategy.

Time for another round of small inprovements

This time things are a little bit different from what you are used to. Normally I test a strategy, make a video of it and provide all the relevant information on my website and all the strategy and backtest output files for you.

But After more than a year of making these backtesting videos and analysing these on the Youtube platform I realize that only the 'spectacular results' videos gain momentum. The ones where I just tell not to put any effort in a strategy because it does not perform only gets a few hundred viewers and then slowly dissapear into the Youtube abyss of unwatched video's. 

Not only a waste of mine, but also your time as well. Not to mention that the whole YT channel suffers from these statistics. The additional disadvantage by the YT algorithm is that I cannot reach and service the targeted audience as well. Those people that are seriously interested in discovering the best algorithm and unveil their secrets for their own knowledge, benefits (and preferably trading account as well ;-)).

So I can better invest this time into testing more strategies and have higher chance of discovering the best ones. It's like the creed "fail fast, fail often".

So, to be short. Only the best performing strategies will show up on Youtube with the explanation of the strategy and why I think the performance is like it is.

Nonetheless, the results and output of ALL THE TESTS I do will turn up on my website (including the scoring in the strategy league) and this patreon site as well. 

My intention by doing this is to provide you with more regular updates through these webchannels. Together with the necessary knowledge and evidence around the strategies performance. This way I can give more value to you as my patrons through this channel and at the same time reach a larger audience that is interested in algotrading.

Wavetrend oscillator files

So to begin with this new direction, here are the output files, strategy files, hyperopt json and charts/plots of the wavetrend oscillator strategy. A strategy that is originally part of the Freqtrade github strategies repo. But I still had to test this tough.
