Building on the mega churches, there is a specific association called the Association of Related Churches who have 100s of nondenominational churches in america who are basically just building mega churches and turning massive profit. There was a church in my hometown on the list. It’s very real and very cult like. The association basically gives them a guidebook for building and maintaining a massive church. @Ken.arrington on TikTok has an interesting video on this called “sometimes a non denominational church isn’t as independent as it wants you to believe”

I might be late to the poll but i have an idea that has been on my mind for Mrs.P to check out. About a month ago i started writing short scary stories about my local area in NEPA. I have 11 soo far and on social media they went viral for a bit. With that i have been on a podcast episode and about to go on ghost adventures. I think it would be cool to hear my stories being shared with everyone. Mr and Mrs.P you inspired me to start my own adventures and never thought I would get a library card and start digging deep in lore myself. Keep up the amazing work and can't wait for sunday!

I know this thread is closed technically, but I just saw the parent company of Redbox filed for bankruptcy, and learned through this that Redbox is owned by Chicken Soup for the Soul, the book people, who have been mentioned on the podcast before. It was my assumption that the Chicken Soup people were religiously affiliated, so it’s worth a look because there are twists I didn’t expect.
