Same! I knew it had to be coming!

Literally in the early days of the podcast I debated mailing you a soap bar and asking you to cover this! I'm stoked you finally did

Im sad the Patreon app always cuts off the last half of the outro theme. Peppermint soap!

I remember seeing this soap and the label and going what in the world is this tirade about!?! I’m glad to hear it that they treat their employees well and doesn’t go into some weird cult stuff! 😅

Yay I wanted to suggest this topic but wasn’t sure if you would do it 😂

Me in my car: “ FRINGE! It’s FRINGE.” I love charades.

The Pod is Coming From Inside the Cast!

I'm wondering how Mrs. P felt about the winner of Drag Race? My head was saying Sapphira Cristál but my heart said Nymphia Wind! I would have been happy with either winning.

Love the episode (as all of them), only here to say Fieri is a disgusting human being! I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with him and his rotten kids too many times 🤣. That dude is slimy!

OMGitsDYC

It is weird that this episode makes me want to now buy Dr.Bronner’s soap 🤣

I could never turn down a request from Mrs P! 🖤 let’s see if I can TL;DR, two wildly different service based industries and two very different stages of his fame. One of most laughable experiences was one of the little turds didn’t get his way one time, so he threw down and smashed his $1200 iPad. In public. While his dad hit on the married manager with a giant rock on her finger, 20ft away. Barf. Not one of his 4 restaurants survived in his home community long term. They were all shrines to the great and powerful fieri like a bad 90’s tchotchke restaurant. That being said, one of ‘em served a helluva fishbowl drink 🤣🤣🤣🖤🖤. Aaaaah the early 2000’s, baby!

I’m making my way through current and past episodes in nonlinear order—I recently listened to the Bob’s Red Mill, Burt’s Bees, Sleepytime tea episodes. So going into this one I figured it’d be weird and wild—which I’m pleased was accurate. I listen to a few other history-esk deep dive pods and have gotten used to most of them usually taking a terrible turn or several, resulting in my consumer options shrinking even further. Anyways, I really appreciate hearing about the just-as-entertaining exceptions too. Not that I expect only that here. Just saying you two do a great job at striking a lovely balance. 🫶🏽

The episode mentions mostly scented products, but I use the 18-in-1 baby unscented liquid Castile soap. Fragrance free makes it more multi use for me—I got it originally to clean (fude) makeup brushes, but found it’s also pet friendly when diluted (with a thorough rinse for cats*). I noticed the cute pup in your profile. :) *I found myself removing sticky tree sap from the cat when he decided to try Christmas tree water this past winter.

The full-body buzz I got when Mrs. P brought it all the way on back Otter Island. Ooohweee!

When Sea Shepherd was mentioned I lost my mind. I no longer support them however because they don't really do that anymore. They booted Cpt. Paul Watson last year or so. Cpt. Paul Watson has his own conservation society going on now that I follow though!

Dr. Bronner's Magical Soapbox is a worthy documentary to follow this up.

Knowing that every label is different changes the game 😂

What was the name of the documentary about Madison square garden?

I fell behind because of depression and I just listened to this episode on the way home from the shore and was inspired by Mrs pearlmania to stop on the way and grab the peppermint Dr bronners from Weaver's way for a summer tingly shower

I loved this! I was afraid to jump into Dr.Bonner because some of the things that the owner does, like Mr.P said, were questionable. Because clean/ethical/homemade culture has an odd way of being a pipeline into MAHA, i haven’t tried it yet. Hearing this, Im going to do some up to date research. Thanks Mrs.P!
