I work in medical records. Without getting too specific, I do birth certificates. Part of my job is entering data to the state, and a portion of that is reporting on a patients previous pregnancies and or miscarriages/abortions. I cannot tell you how much I hate this part of my job and how scared I am for how this data could be used in the future. It’s terrifying

i’m from butler county (literally right where donald trump was shot - it was behind my grandmother’s house lmao) and they have an entire “Jeep Fest” because they claim Butler made jeeps and I am maybe embarrassed to admit I have been to the event and driven a Jeep (granted it was a 2000 cherokee with no stickers - i didn’t “count” for the jeep wave lmao) and people do get really weird about their Jeeps😂😭 My high school best friend’s dad thought he was so cool with an american flag in his grill and then quite literally everyone else had the same thing. ALSO the punisher stickers that are so opposite of what the punisher stands for drive my husband and i CRAZY. also there is a jeep near my current house that is a woke jeep, they have a cross sticker that is just the word “lies” making up the cross shape lol and others i can’t remember of course

Being an FtM later in my life definitely made me an adolescent for a year. Thank the goddess that didn’t last too long but I really didn’t have normal teenage years when I was a teenager so I think I was playing catch up! Also recovering Catholic here 🙋‍♂️ the childhood trauma of a priest screaming at me a left handed dyslexic who couldn’t tell left from right ( I still don’t.) because I used the wrong hand for the sign of the cross. 😖

I converted to Judaism back in 2002 (before I got married and wouldn't do it today, not cause I don't like Judaism but because I'm not a believer) and it was not easy or quick. I never had a regular period. I had to take Clomid to get pregnant. My cycles were 50-70 days long. I'd be doomed on a tracker app. Glad I'm menopausal now. And YES, they're weird. Mike Johnson and his son/porn buddy? WTF?

also school uniforms are almost universal in australia, even public schools have them. i do kinda miss the simplicity of it.

My mother converted to Catholicism when I was 7 and had us going to church 6 days a week. She definitely gave off stolen valour vibes 😂 went so far as to ban Harry Potter from our household because “it’s witchcraft and devil worshipping”.

I remember my ma tried to ban HP so I read the first book out of rebellion.... and hated the end threw the book across the room.😂 ( Jk and 2faced track and took forever for us to find out)

My parents converted to Roman Catholicism so they could save money on Catholic school for me and my sister. 🤣I went through it when I was in 3rd grade. Our school district wasn’t the best so they sent us catholic school instead of moving. The diocese charge noncatholics more money for school so they converted 🤣 needless to say, they’re the worst Catholics and I don’t say in Catholic anymore 🤣

Adults who convert to Catholicism and then start using obscure doctrine to support unhinged stances have a very "last ditch attempt to be cool at a party, accidentally pissed in the pool and then tries to distract everyone by making someone else the issue" energy to them. But idk that's what it feels like as a Catholic in recovery. Everyone else I know is like "yeah we love saint Sebastian as the patron saint of gays, the disabled, and some athletes" (that venn diagram is sometimes a full circle) and "saint Jude, patron saint of lost causes and desperate situations" because, y'know. Mood. Anyway we really do just gotta keep calling them weird freaks, huh.
