Hope you all get better soon. This past few weeks have been lot. Bracing myself for 2025... Reading the Blake Lively lawsuit filing was very disturbing. A lot of consent boundaries were violated on top of everything else. I don't know if you'd be interested in going over the history of blacklisting artists or creating scandals to hide crimes or even the history of astroturfing.

The fridge story was infuriating. You can't leave someone without a fridge for 2 weeks! (Even though it only took 3 days). I hope they gave you some money off the cost of the fridge. Sorry about the adult chicken pox (& pearlbabia's too!). I guess as an adult chicken pox are more like shingles? I had shingles 4 months before my 50th bday. I had a mild case but it was still crappy. I hope you guys are doing ok!

I was listening to this in my car driving through backroads in Reading and as soon as Alex said “2025 is going to be worse” my car stopped working. Turned out a fuel line got cut and two tow companies canceled on me. All that to say I’m pretty sure whatever curse you put on your monument is definitely going to work.

I agree with doing Courtney Love at some point but, I first wanted to say my younger sister and I are 14 months apart and have always been besties except the usual sibling fights and such and now we are in our mid thirties and love each other more than the other 3 sisters we don't talk to anymore who are all older.

Holiday ailments are the literal WORST! Fortunately our tiny human hasn't fallen ill those times: but for the past 3 years we have found ourselves parenting while sick Thanksgiving thru NYE... this is all too familiar. The stress is so real & I can only imagine the juggling between MommyMan & Mrs. Die Hard. I finally understand that dumb Dayquil commercial where the sick parent is in bed trying to call out sick to their kids. 😂 Hang in there Pearlmans! Take what you need.

When I was 1 I got chickenpox so did my brother and my Dad got it too. Three of us all with the pox. In the late 70‘s.. no pox party. Thank goodness I don’t remember having it. It sounds awful! But there a second prize when u get in your 50‘s shingles is what ya get.. yay 😣😩

Hope y’all are doing ok!! This ep reminded me of an anti-quack that I wish more people know about that developed several of our childhood vaccines we use today. His name was Maurice Hilleman and he’s certainly an odd duck, but not a quack. Just a farmer who wanted his kids to stop being fkn sick.

Poor pearlbabia. I got chickenpox even though I got the vaccine. I got the chickenpox in 1999. I have a couple little scars on my face, but that’s it. My dad didn’t realize I had the chickenpox, and I went to ballet class, and all the other parents were pissed tf off that I exposed everyone. 😂

fun story since i was 15 and am hypersocial, i learned how to type REALLY fast and match how i talk, bc i had to be quarantined... at 15... in the summer... 😩😩😩 so my only contact with the outside world was on my computer (before smartphones, before social media - i lived in chat rooms... remember those? haha)
