A coconut is a drupe not a nut, but it does get classified as a tree nut for allergy warning purposes. I always thought if you were allergic to a tree nut, you were allergic to all tree nuts but then I ate a hazelnut at work and went into anaphylactic shock. I ate almonds and cashews all the time so I didn't think I could only be allergic to a singular nut which is why I argued with the paramedics and tried to refuse to go to the hospital.

If you’re on the patreon app, go to the pearlmania channel, and in the top right corner you’ll see the … menu button; click that and in that menu there’s the option to “add to podcast app.” Now I don’t use Spotify, so I cannot say with certainty it’s one of the options, but that’s how you’ll do it if it is. :)

5:47 anything that's inconvenient to scoop: weigh it. So easy peasy. Less mess. Fewer utensils. Folks will tell you it's "overcomplicating" things. It's doing the opposite. Don't scoop tub margarine or peanut butter with a measuring spoon or cup, scrape it level with a knife, then scrape it into a bowl. Just plop the container on the scale, zero it out, and scoop it with whatever utensil you want until it says the right number.
