*screams internally* yassss I feel like I've been waiting foreverrr

Nicolette

So it’s event horizon?

Lauren Jane

When I say I finished this book with a *purpose* so I was ready for this episode 😂

Kuma The Swear Bear

Not sure if it would be Mrs. P cup of tea but there is a great audio drama called the white vault by fool and scholar that I would recommended.

Brianna Kern

I want to hear Mrs P do Ice Planet Barbarians soooo bad. I feel like Alex will be losing his shit the whole time 🤣🤣

Inigo Montoya

I support this 💯 cause I have zero shame in stating that I've read damn near that entire series

Brianna Kern

Same! It's so addicting for no reason 😅😅

Inigo Montoya

The ship's name is Lina (Ly-na)... I know this cause Lina is my nickname and I was hyped cause that's how the narrator says it in the audio book. I was so happy hearing somebody who doesnt know me say it right

yeetwood mac

I love these episodes because even listening to a humorous version of Mrs. P summarizing this book made me uneasy, I would never be able to get through the book myself! But these stories are still awesome and I'm glad to get to experience it secondhand 😂

Paige Morgan

I want a movie of this JUST for the masquerade floating bodies

Pearlmania500

This book would be a great movie! So many jump scares!

Brianna Kern

Yay!! And they're super quick reads!

Huckleberry Martini

How the fuck did Alex know about Linda from accounting? This man knows too much

jaywhygeereads

Yessss Ruby Dixon and Ice Planet Barbarians 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 this is a gateway book and you can sell it as a space book 👽🛸

Hey-hey it’s Wah-say

This was a fun one! I love your podcast whether it’s Sunday or Wednesday! I listen during my skincare routine and my partner stopped and sat on the bed to listen along on this one

Mrs_Ps_Chambermaid

Ok people consider me influenced I shall be going to MY LOCAL LIBRARY and checking it out

Brianna Kern

Lmao you'll get sucked in. There's like 20 books in the series and you can burn through them in a couple hours. I recommend checking out at least the first 3 at once if they have them so you don't have to make repeat trips to the library.

Drella

Thank you for the giggles, cause I work graveyard shift as security at a bougie old folks home and it's very creepy and quiet. I usually avoid listening to spooky stuff, but despite the spooks, y'all still had me giggling like a crazy person.

Elspeth Davis

Loved this episode and also how you narrate books. Does the book say what happens to space Walmart? Do they get exposed? Does it get covered up? Dying to know!

Vanessa Deleon

I really liked this episode, that story was really interesting. Mrs. P does a great job with the book club!

Brianna Kern

I never thought I'd be one of those people but you made the book sound so good I shut the podcast off right at the diagnostic report part so I could read the book for myself. You should be a social media rep for libraries I swear.

Taris Harlow

I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, because I wanted to get the book first. I had to wait forever on the Libby app to get the audiobook. The lady who read the audiobook deserves a fucking award! She was doing the absolute most during the reading of this book 🤣. I really felt like she was screaming this story directly at me for full affect, while also dying herself during the strangulation scenes.

CeddyRick

I want Mrs. Pearlman to know that I really enjoyed her retelling of the book

crafty

Thanks to Mrs. P book club I went to my local library after avoiding it for the last 3 years to check out this book. Which is just as believable as mermaids and mermards lol.

Nixie

Coming back to say this episode made me want to read this book, and I just finished it. It was fantastic. Couldn’t stop listening to it. The Libby app does have the audiobook, btw. 10/10, highly recommend.
