So many things to unpack this episode ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ as infuriating as Song Yimeng can be sometimes, of all the 1000000 times she's been annoyingly harsh on Nan Heng this is the only time she's not completely wrong, Nan Heng did help hide all the crimes of his uncle, that's why he also tried to help those affected by him founding Vicious Moonlight, but of course is not as black and white as Yimeng makes it seem, after all that's still Nan Heng's uncle and he's filial to him and his mother and for good or bad his uncle was the only father figure he had growing up and the only one who kind of protected him when everyone else turned his back against him, so makes sense he covered from him. Nan Heng has just been doing the best he can all his life ๐Ÿ˜ญ I also like that through the shared meal of the Song family we see a glimpse of Song Yimeng's extra reasoning for not wanting to trust Nan Heng. Like you said, she already feels in her heart things might not be as they seem, but since every iconic scene has happened (even with slight variations) she's convinced that no matter what she does and even if Nan Heng is not a villain, the remaining scenes will have to happen somehow, so... she and her family will die so she's deeply afraid, I honestly think at this point she's even more afraid of her family dying than herself although that doesn't completely excuse her behavior towards Nan Heng but those details do give us some background. Either way I think writers could've done a better job with Song Yimeng's character during all this portion of the drama. Lastly, I appreciate the hesitation on Nan Rui's face when Chu Gui Hong proposed attacking Nan Heng's mother, he's annoying haha but he's starting to use critical thinking, finally ๐Ÿ˜‚
