Wasn't this a porn comic? Why is it get so dark

zeroxros7

The true nature of immortality. To eventually live so long you crave death. Truly it is a horrific existence to hold.

RashilRavil

KingLevi

Tester032

Bro... why... are you make me feel in this... I don't like... these feelings

Balthir

The.....feels.....THE FEELS!!!!!

Various Rodents

Damn, that last page. The way you show how Laurelyn has been crushed by just a tenth of what her lifespan could be is hauntingly beautiful.

TheKite

Because the porn will taste sweeter that way! :P

TheKite

Especially when you live it entirely alone surrounded by people

TheKite

Laurelyn wasn't a great person in her later year, but she truly got a raw deal

Valkren

So I have a dumb question. Im sure its answered somewhere. Is there a good way to read this all from the beginning? Like ch1. To now. I came because I love the fall out/ monster series. But this seems super interesting too and id love to give it a full read.

TheKite

I'm glad I didn't miss the mark on this moment!

I feel like even with this explanation her daughter will still not like her. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like Laurelyn had her daughter and raised her in an emotionally abusive manner with the ultimate goal of ending her own life early just to get out of the long life. Not a good look.

But it doesn't /have/ to be, especially if you are from a wealthy and influential family. You have options with which to fill your time.

TheKite

Oh clearly, and she acknowledge herself in that page that it wasn't RIGHT to do, just that she did out out of necessity; she doesn't really care whether she gets *sympathy* for her past struggles or not, she mostly wants out and believes that she didn't deserve to be left alone to handle everything and has paid more than enough for whatever people would condamn her for.

TheKite

Indeed; this us why the younger generations also have less problems But Laurelyn was born from a different time and was very attached to her immediate family and sister; losing both her mother and sister I'm one go, one from time and the inherent from abandonment damaged her a lot, and she ultimately never moved on Instead, she reinforced her isolation, which caused her to completely break with time

Berettadin

It really puts the wince in wincest. T_T

ThunderMage

Kind of hard to convince someone to take the duty when you essentially killed their ghost wife. Sure her girlfriend is back, but with no memory of the time they shared and as a mortal.
