But it does… wetlands wear down storms, so do seas, and the water can take anything the storms dish out quite easily (assuming there is enough water, and there is always enough water, you’d need something on the level of Pluto’s largest storm to do anything significant to earths oceans). (Remember water has a massive carrying capacity, doesn’t mean it’s good at brute force)
