Stylish Login Screen Big Update! (Patreon)

Hey everyone! This is a big one, I've been listening to the suggestions and feedback of the community and I think everyone will love this update. Here's everything new:

Presets & Sharing

You can now save and load presets, making it easy to keep multiple layouts ready and swap between them. But the real highlight: community shared presets. You can browse presets submitted by other GMs directly inside Foundry, filter by layout type and player count, and apply them with one click. Want to share yours? Submit it from the config window and it gets uploaded to a public GitHub repo. Every submission is reviewed by Cloudflare worker and by me personally for the utmost safety before it goes live. (Not that I think anything can get past the worker, but until the community submissions grow very large, I think I'll still review submissions manually)

Entry Screen

There's now an optional entry screen that appears before the login screen. Players click to enter, which also lets the browser unlock audio playback (browsers block audio until there's user interaction, so this was the cleanest solution). The entry screen is fully customizable: set a background image, change the text, and pick from 10 different transition animations to reveal the login screen behind it.

Audio

Speaking of audio: you can now add background music to the login screen, and also attach click sound effects to each character tile, and yes also unmute video backgrounds (webm support landed last week, and now you can hear them too). Volume is adjustable, and everything fades out smoothly when a player logs in.

Login Animations

I felt this was really needed, you wanted some feedback for choosing your characer, when a player clicks their character, the screen doesn't just jump to the game anymore. There are now 7 login animations to choose from: Zoom, Zoom to Eye, Flash, Ripple, Spotlight, Glitch, and Erase. After the animation plays, the music fades and the screen goes to black for a seamless transition into the game world. Also, the password prompt no longer pops up if there's no password set.

Custom Layout Overhaul

Big one! The line drawing system has been completely rebuilt. You're no longer limited to simple straight cuts between two different edges. You can now draw freeform multi-vertex paths that start and end on any edge which opens up much more creative and irregular shapes for you to share or use with the community presets!. On top of that, two new line styles have been added: Thorns and Torn Edge.

Quality of Life

The old image size limits have been removed. And the config window UI has been reorganized with grouped sections to keep things clean as the feature set has grown.

Regarding the reviews of your layout uploads for the community presets, I'll be approving submissions daily, don't wonder if you don't see your layout immediately!

As usual, the updated files are in the main post, soon enough I'll be working on an easy way to get the updates for your modules instead of reinstalling them manually all the time!
