But for the true old school history nerds, the ones who have been locked in since grade school (and I KNOW you guys are here 🤨) APUSH or AP Euro? Because AP euro was fr the best class I took in high school. Also in college I took a couple of classes that were like, historical context improv? It’s hard to describe but they were amazing. And I’ve simply never found another class more perfectly tailored to me. The classes are structured around a specific time period and conflict and you’re assigned characters within that (some real, some realistic but fictional) and you have to do research and then actually work out treaties and agreements and wars and whatever else with each other. It usually goes differently than the actual historical events, but in a plausible way. Even the second one I took, which was conducted on zoom (2020 lol). Everyone made it work and I! loved! it! If they made a club for adults that was that class, I’d be in it. Because I’m like… very very cool. I’m an extremely cool person what can I say 😎

🙋🏻‍♀️ Day one history kid reporting in! I have to go with APUSH > AP Euro, buuuut I’m biased bc 1. I took AP World instead of AP Euro, 2. one of my earliest history hyper-fixations was the American Revolution -> War of 1812 (like, wrote a report about it for *fun* for my 1st grade teacher 💀), 3. I had the coolest APUSH teacher and it was the easiest 5 of the APs I took! As soon as I saw the DBQ on my exam was about the Civil War, I knew that 5 was mine. Your college classes sound like an alternate history LARP haha I’m so jealous! I also took a few history courses during undergrad, but they were more traditionally structured with heavy focus on historiographical analysis. Still absolutely loved them though!!! 🫶🏼🤓

omg i wanted to take AP world but my school didn’t start offering it until after i graduated 😭 I bet it absolutely slapped tho im jealous. first grade report for fun is iconic vibes im impressed !! my APUSH teacher was a character too! the most memorable thing tho was his obsession with George Washington. I shit u not he spent an entire hour of class telling us about how hot George Washington was??? which was not an opinion I’ve ever heard before or since. it was that ancient youtube song (Washington Washingtonnnn six foot twenty fucking killing for fun… iykyk) come to life. and then when we did ap review in the spring he went on the same spiel AGAIN. Unfortunately that’s the only thing about American history I remember clearly and it did not grant me a 5, but it’s a story nonetheless Also this might be up ur alley, in seventh grade me and my friends were in a civil war history class and we all had to do a project, so we made a dictionary of civil war slang (i loveee linguistics). my dad took me to the fedex store to get it wire bound and laminated and i still have it somewhere lol

I DO know about that GW song (haven’t thought about that in probably a DECADE damn what a deep cut memory you resurrected for me there!). My APUSH teacher was so surprising in that, at first glance you’d assume he was one of those HS teachers who was primarily hired to coach a sport (he was a varsity basketball coach for the school) and can kinda teach a subject bc he has to. But NO this man was a bonafide American History Geek underneath his jock coach exterior and a genuinely fantastic educator! I hope he’s thriving! Omg civil war slang dictionary is an incredible project, exactly the kinda shit I would’ve gotten into in 7th grade. It’s clear you and your friends were the cool kids in that class!!!

Not sure where to talk about this, but I fell asleep listening to audios 🎧👂🏼in the soft collection 🐑🍦 (they are my go-to when I wanna play audio vs. sleep battle royale: “will my sleepiness and the soothingness of August’s voice be such that they will quickly take over and reign supreme 🥱 over the increasingly titillating audio as the story progresses?”🤺🤺) I guess I didn’t set a sleep timer 😴, so it cycled all the way down to the tutor audio 📚🤓, and then the audio interacted with the exact part of my sleep cycle to INCEPT me 🛌😪💭with a bona fide tutor dream 🤩!!! Except the scenario became a sexy tutoring class🧑🏻‍🏫, and the tutor would make his rounds to all student and test them on their knowledge of Henry and his wives 🤴🏻👸🏻👸🏻👸🏻👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼while he serviced each of them 🫠. Upon awakening, the dream had felt so immersive that it felt like the tutor was still with me🤯. I typically prefer August’s newer audios - but now I’m seeing tutor in a whole new light 😎 thanks to my dreamscape. Gotta say, it’s actually so funny that even in the dream, the speaker character does not have a fully formed appearance. I’m going to indulge myself!!! It’s almost his birthday after all 🥳. It would be comical if it weren’t so brutal how many of my favorite things this relatively short August audio includes. A smartypants who is teaching me something; a library (I love libraries!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even when sex isn’t happen in them!!!!); history; strictness & discipline; fellatio; fingering; hold the moan; heavy petting; confessions!… the list goes on. I could not have dreamed up a more perfectly annihilating scenario. While I met the Naughty Neighbor first, I subscribed because of the Tutor. I could not stop visiting him. That Soundgasm link and I were VERY familiar before I finally subscribed. What’s more is I’ve come to appreciate how unique he is over time. There have been Speakers with his DNA (namely Grumpy Coworker and Shy Fiend M [because only a demon would do a collared BJ]), and they all are so different and incite different madnesses! While I would probably still love them the second I heard them, I don’t know if I’d do so as ardently without the exposure to and education in this Speaker’s particular mixture of disinterest, discipline, and barely concealed lust. When science begins to study your Patrons and the effects of your work on our brains, they will find the Tutor’s fingerprints allllllllllllll over my grey matter. I’ve diversified my interests since joining the Patreon and have learned to, not just tolerate, but seek out and luxuriate in more praise and direct sweetness (owe that almost entirely to the Blowfessor & HS Friend), but the mold of my desires deep deep deep in my brain is still Tutor-shaped. I’ve said before that I think the defining characteristic of the Tutor as an archetype, for me, is being so deranged, they have to control you so as to not derail their lives fucking you all the time. Though he's ostensibly disinterested in L, he shows off his keen awareness of every little thing about them. He could probably rattle off every time they've been late, which of their friends they feel closest to and why, how often they wear that sweater they're wearing today. Soon enough, he be able to say (and do) exactly what makes them bite their lip like that. He is Attention to Detail which is to say he's the heart of dominance. I think I find a lot of comfort and latitude for playfulness with a Tutor balancing me out. If anything, he’s me during girlboss hours: a rule-bound, anxious, goody two-shoes nerd. As I’m writing this, I realize the Tutor sort of functions as a way for me to understand and appreciate some things about myself that I might otherwise find uncool or unappealing. This sounds so solipsistic, but I hope what I’m getting at makes sense. If I am so so so SO obsessed with these omega level mutants of focus and restraint, maybe someone could appreciate and admire fractals of those traits in me or at least find something about them useful. It’s also just very relaxing to relinquish control to someone who will keep the rules and a lot of specific information about me in mind while I am encouraged to be distracting, unfurl, and follow my flights of fancy. If I am like this 👁️👁️ when I like someone, and he is like this 😑, but we share the same core (🏩🥵🤪🤸⬆️💥😳).... That just seems fun to me!!! Errata: 📓 The [Hysterical History] tag is so so so so funny, I totally forgot Hysterical Literature was a thing for a minute there in the 2010s! 📓 I am still desperate to hear what he sounds like not in a library 📓 We're wearing t-shirts, his says, "Attention to Detail" and mine says, "I'm Detail" ☺️ 📓 Ya know, I’ve never considered until today what he looks like above the table during the BJ. Until now, I’d considered watching Jonathan Rhys Meyers fuck his way through all 6 wives as the gold standard in Tudor-history pedagogy. The Tudors was my go-to Netflix + chill show (back when you still had to mail-order DVDs) and I made my boyfriend at the time “watch” all 4 seasons with me, so I do consider myself kind of an expert in sexually compromised Tudor studies. That said, I have to concede that Tudor-Tutor appears to have made significant advances in the field. Which is an outrageous achievement when the competition is JRM (and Henry Cavill!!).
