[SPOILER ALERT for Arc 4 of The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One]

Patrons, as promised, here are the contents of Suvi's second letter.

For the Wizard Silver's eyes only, sent from Suvi to her citadel colleagues on the eve of the Battle of Twelvebrooks, and carried forth by a most unusual fleet: liberated demons of wizards' ink.

For those of us using screen readers or those who might have trouble parsing Suvi's excellent hand, a plain text file is attached below.

SCREAMING CRYING

Queen Motoko

Does this mean Silence knows her true name too?

Melynda Farnham

Oof. That’s a gut punch (but thank you for posting)

Jacob Leaf

I’m going to cry I swear

Alaziel

And he never got a chance to read it😭

Simon Moo

Crying screaming sliding up and down the wall

astrolotree

Cool fine this is great I’m normal about this

Meg Pressley

All I do is cry here 😅😭

Kate Leary

So Silence now knows her true name. OOF.

Ariel Henley

Somehow this isnt what I was expecting and it hurts even worse 💔

Jess B

😭😭😭

Laura Truxillo

Oh fuuuuuu silence has her true name

Jady Bee

It feels forbidden to see this

wysterlyn

shut up shut UP oh my god aabria did you kiss the brick before you slung it at us

Nathan Neilson

💔😭 But also infinitely appreciative of explain text version provided

The Wizard Seeker

I expected horny, but all I got was tears. Bitter, bitter tears.

Julia Whitmore

Ok, devastating, but not necessarily incriminating. Interesting interesting interesting

rae

HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WORKDAY 😭

sophie🪱

bless y'all for the plain text doc 🥲🫶 aabria, i adore you .

IAmKINGFISH

At least look apologetic when you RIP MY HEART OUT

HaliCait

Because Suvi didn’t actually give her name to Silence - he took a letter she was giving to someone else - does he actually just see “Sky”? Boy, I sure hope so.

Stephanie Syed

What a beautiful letter 😭 there’s no way Silver was able to read it though the compulsion, but I wish he could have When Silence read this, I can imagine that he thought Suvi knew something of Silver’s “plan” to attack Silence. Or may be he’s in on Steel’s plan to protect Suvi? So many questions

Cleo Bear

Wow that was heartbreaking

The Wizard Seek

*Resigned voice* thank you aabria 😭 Truly masterful and aching to release this now and have written it so long ago. My God.

Julian

😭😭😭

Gillian Moser

Oh no she wrote her full name out

Kate K

ㅠ.ㅠ This is just so beautiful and filled with emotional shrapnel

Laura White

I hadn't even considered that, GODDDD

Witch of the Weird

Wait does this mean Silence knows Suvi’s true name?!

DiamondPWrites

No, I thought this at first when he destroyed the letter, but then I remembered Name Cloaking also works with written text, so it would’ve appeared as Sky here as well

sophie🪱

going to use "did u kiss the brick before u slung it" all the time now 💀💀

Julia Thompson

Damn it I can’t have this ruin my life while not paying attention during a staff meeting

TPK_light

I'M CRYING AT WORK. AGAIN. AABRIA!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

The Wizard Seek

I believe the name cloaking works on documents and letters as well, the name given beforehand was magically significant, I think, but not a rule that persists past the name cloaking itself. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that's how it works!

Nicknack

Not me tearing up at Gen Con, no sir. 🥺

wysterlyn

What hurts so awful is now we know how silence was able to think (or spin it so) that eza was the rebel, not suvi

Malaki

Well lets hope that Suvi can keep her words about Fire and Oblivion

Randolph McGurrin

WHO STARTED CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yin

Of course you post this after he dies

Cristina

Just feels like I got shot guys

LadyMage

I want to say no because the letter wasn't given to him by Suvi directly. I want to believe he just read Sky.

Kenzie

Y’all am I misremembering or does the name cloak also cover written names???

Amber Cekander

a confessional just vague enough to be misrepresented, if need be Suvi is always one step ahead

Philip S

The name has to be given willingly so I think it will read as Sky? Except Silence would know the true name anyway?

Npxhc

No, I believe it was said early that those she has not personally given it to automatically read sky

Claire Wilson

Don't worry about her name. The charms mean it can only be heard or read by those who already know it or who the named person wants to know it

Nathan Neilson

A name written and given remains, Brennan alluded to the check-in book at the Ave of Wanda is a place where a piece “Suvi” remained Iirc Edit: Suvi and Eza gave each other their names when they were in that cave refuge settlement in the shroud mountains, so he would be able to see it regardless. When it was read, Silence would see “Sky”, assuming he doesn’t know her true name

Anga

Oh cool weeping. And? He never read it?? Did he read it or the spell wouldn't let him? 🥺

Alyssa

Suviiiiiiii 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Geleisa George

I don’t think so because the intention wasn’t for him; maybe as Silence reads it he sees Wizard Sky

Dominic Corbin

I think you have to show your written name to get around a name cloak

halfstraight

a second letter has hit the towers... this is evil work after ch53

Aviva

Thankfully, that’s not how giving names works. All written instances are cloaked just as spoken ones are. He’ll just see Silver and Sky, unless he was already given their true names. I don’t believe the arch mages have everyone’s true names. Names must be given personally, iirc.

Ren, Artificer Ordinare

Cool. Cool cool cool cool… Oh look. There it is, my heart on the floor

Jeremiah Pennell

The letter was unopened when Silence grabbed it. Seems like the spell did keep him from anything but the task at hand.

milo

I WOULD TRAVEL DOWN ANY ROAD?!?! owwwwwouwwww

Abby Smith

Aabria please don’t write any more npcs letters, it’s too dangerous 😭😭😭

Aviva

Written names are cloaked just like spoken ones.

Aviva

Poor Suvi. 💔

JayJaytheOtaku

I'm pretty sure it also covers written names as well, so long as they haven't been told the names after the cloaking ceremony

Alexander

To think Silver'll never read this. It hurts my soul.

Arwen

All the S names have me constantly confused. Wasn't she apprenticed to Silence before her name-cloaking?

Rebecca Chapin

No, I think that's only the case if you tell someone yourself. For Silence, the letter would read as being to Silver, from Sky, even though she wrote their real names. Kind of like how Suvi told Eursalon and Ame that they could still call her "Suvi" around other people, and those around them who she hadn't already told her name would hear "Sky" instead.

Erika Abbas Hanna

She said in the other one that she composed them but that’s not her handwriting

Johnathan Reed

Her name should be cloaked even as written. And even if not, she was Archmage Apprentice Suvi before the ceremony, and absolutely would have known her name already. Unless something fundamental shifts here, the letter itself shouldn't be a major security issue- for her name, anyway.

Dominic Corbin

I think it could be twisted to read that way if Steel or Silence decided to spin it that way, but I think most people would take it as more that Silver lashed out because he was reassigned, and wanted to be with Suvi.

POORDOVE (Milo)

It covers names, but ONLY until the wizard dies. Silvers true name is visible, Suvi’s is not

Nick

Heartbroken and proud at the same time. Nothing outright incriminating in writing? That's our girl!

Thouthem

Silence burned the letter not because it confessed to treason, he burned it to spare Suvi from the Citadel learning how down bad she was 🤯

Dominic Corbin

Yes, Suvi was, and technically still is apprentice to Silence

Nick

It covers written names while you are alive! Hence why Suvi could learn Soft and Stone's. So um, now it's visible 😔

Manifesting Good Posture

"I know what I have done has caused you sorrow, and what may yet lie ahead will not remediate that." 👁️👄👁️ SPOILERS Back to my fan theory: Silence has seen enemies of the Citadel eliminated under geas before by attacking major figures of the Citadel. Didn't Soft & Stone "lose their minds" and attack Steel? Interesting similarity. So I think Silence knows something is being buried here and is going along with a coverup to protect leadership (here: Suvi).

PT MacKim

Was expecting something incriminating, but this is just heartbreaking! Makes me think more kindly of Silence that he burned it.

Kenzie

Cheers, y’all. The wording on the wiki seems full of loopholes, so I’m glad it seems our girl is good for now

Darcy Barlow

He’s a bad bad man! How dare you, Brennan!

Lulu

Uuugh! My heart! Aabria has truly mastered sweet devistation😭❤️

CC

Damn, Suvi's letters got hands

Genna

Oh wow. To be loved by Aabria must be devastating 🩷

VforVenlee

Hit me with a truck next time instead it will hurt less

Emilie Han

Aabria will be the death of me

Renoku

HEY. This hurt me. 😭

Rowan

Wait! It had her full name! Does that mean Silence has it now?! How does that work?!

Sarah Neima

Remind me, did she give her full name (first AND last) to Silver initially? Cause I remember her only telling Ame and Eursalon her first name. It seems kinda crazy that she gave her full name to Silver but not her True Friends??

Maddie Moreland

Who else is ready for Suvi to rain down pain and oblivion? I’m so ready. Get your revenge, girl.

David Stavis

If Silence read the signature, would it just say "The Wizard Sky" to his eyes, or would reading this break Suvi's namecloak and give Silence knowledge of Suvi's true name?

David Stavis

Is that correct? I was confused. It seemed like at least 2 letters were mentioned during the Dead Silver scene and I thought the one that was described as unopened was a response letter from Silver to Suvi that Suvi got hold of.

Andrew Guthy

Hey is Suvi going to die? Because the road that leads to Silver is the one where the man in black found him.

Witch of the Warren of Words

I think it would be read as "The Wizar Sky", bc Suvi wasn't giving Silence her name, she was adressing a person who already knew her name. I think the namecloak spell takes intention into account, if not, letters sent from a Wizard at war to their family that get intercepted would expose that Wizard's true name

Casey Furtado

Made the mistake of reading this at work 🥹

The Wizard S_

I think Silence already has her name, he was part of the naming cloak ceremony with the other archmages and steel? I can't believe the big bad industrial complex would allow for a protection it couldn't revoke or turn to it's advantage

Ashley Robinson

just weeping at my desk at work, omg this is was devastating in the best way

Devora

Seriously. If someone wrote me this I would expire immediately and also combust into flames of amazement

Devora

Pretty sure Brennan mentioned it was her letter but I haven’t re-listened so I’m not 100%

Devora

Complete same to all points

finn

Sure, make me cry at work why don’t you 😭

Devora

Or is he more actively involved and entangled with this than we think? He’s been presented by Brennan in his RP as this sort of doddering old man but let’s not forget he is definitely still an archmage of the citadel, and something tells me that the Citadel would not suffer someone to continue to be an Archmage if he was not in complete and utter control of his significant faculties. I wonder if there is some bigger picture at play here between him and steel… it’s just like Brennan to present a kindly old man who is actually an utterly deranged or terrifying source of power.

Brandon Carbaugh

Damn, alright, Aabria got some epistolary chops

Devora

Like I do wonder how much of it is fondness for Sky versus maintaining an inroad under Steel’s armor

Ashley Teatum

The exact thing I was thinking 🤌✨

finn

Exactly my thoughts during ep 53 and this letter especially confirms it

Devora

I’m gonna throw up holy shit if someone wrote me that I would immediately marry them

Ashley Teatum

YES she did, I'll have to go back and look -- I think very early in their spending time together

Manifesting Good Posture

I was just talking about the coverup for Suvi's actions at 12Brooks. I don't think word has gotten out about that specifically. But agreed, zero doubt that the guy involved with the creation of Task & The Resource, the guy who killed the Great Bullfrog, has got other shit going on. What is that other shit? We will likely find out in 2029.

Lavellan

Oh Suvi. Damn. Silence deff burned that letter to keep Suvi's name safe from some random getting it. He's got to be questioning the whole attack tho- he knew Silver was connected to her before he even had the letter. So he's gotta be thinking about Steel's involvement in this- maybe from an overprotective parent way, maybe for worse motives. Silence better keep that head on a swivel.

embraceweird

Oh I knew it would hurt but I still was not ready 😭

Witch of the Warren of Words

I went back to the transcript of the episode she gives Silver her name (ep. 39, Into the Woods). Here you go: - Silver (Brennan) I wish I still knew her name. Aabria Iyengar Suvi is going to immediately end the spell. And there’s parts of her that are like “I should go let Ame and Eursulon know that I’m gonna sleep here. I should go check on the other soldiers, I should check in with Sworn.” I can’t keep doing this. I’m so tired and he’s right there. [Crying] And all he wants from me is to know my name. And she’s gonna pull a little scrap of paper out. And sit on the bed and pat the space next to it. Suvi (Aabria) [Crying] This doesn’t have any expectation attached to it. We can just rest. But I need you to know that my name is Suvi. ‘Cuz I really liked the way you said my name. Aabria Iyengar And I put it on the sheet of paper so he has it. Brennan Lee Mulligan He takes it, looks at it, his hands are wreathed in light as he smushes the paper between his palms and burns it in between two coal-hot exteriors of his hands as he calls a little flame spell. And he goes, Silver (Brennan) Suvirin. Lie down. - Maybe Aabria and Brennan talked after and defined if she gave him her full name or not

Sydney Jay

I think after all this, Suvi deserves the MOST whirlwind, fairytale romance with the prince with NO sad ending 😭😭 because what the fuck

Extragarb

I see a lot of talk over Suvi writing her true name and if that compromises her to Silence, but I think it’s hilarious to assume the 5 Archmagi don’t have everyone’s uncloaked names in some kind of secret registry in Lucent or something. There’s no way they didn’t build in a back door for themselves

Nefeli

This is so fucked uppp Aabriaaaaaaaaa

Kurt Anderson

I'm surprised so many people are concerned about the name, when I figured it was a given that everyone's true name was still kept in an archmage file somewhere because no way would the leaders of the citadel not be those guys.

Witch of the Warren of Words

We know the name cloakspell changes a Wizard's true name in every instance it was written before the cerimony, except when the Wizard wrote the name with the intention to *give* it to someone (like Suvi did with Ame and Eursulon). So I think that rule also applies to the writing of the name after the cerimory, with the same exception (giving with intention). I mean, imagine all those letters Soft and Stone sent each other. Suvi found a bunch of them, they only stopped writting after they moved in together. I think they would use their true names. If those letters got to the League of Whispers' hands, a bunch of people would know the true names of two of the most powerful Wizards of the Citadel. If the spell doesn't take these things into account (a person who doesn't know your name takes a letter meant for another in which you signed your true name), it would be a very defective spell, and that doesn't sound very wizardy to me.

bexcx

my heart is sooooo sooooo sooooo broken. this is beautiful :(((

The Wizard Sardonic

don't you dare make me continue to feel things in response to this post

Mack Whaley

I vote Suvi gets a vibrant and passionate love story with our hot Antivolist (enemies to lovers Tefmet x Suvi??? 🫠)

Sarah Neima

Thank you for doing the research! I just listened to the episode where she gets her name cloak and Silence only says "Suvirin" while Steel mutters under her breath "Suvirin Kedberiket", which makes me think even the archmages don't know her full name. Combine that with her only telling her True Friends her first name, made me think that her last name was a closely guarded secret that only Steel knew. Combine THAT with the fact that Steel likes to refer to Suvi as a "princess" makes me wonder if her last name doesn't carry some kind of significant lineage

Liz

No, it was the letter that Enzo tried to deliver to Silver and had to eventually just slip it into his pocket and leave.

rio

I think it’s a really interesting personal touch that Sworn’s letter had several strikethroughs, but Silver’s is a flawless first draft

Liz

It’s so sad that he never got to read this. ☹️ Also, whose gorgeous handwriting is that??? Incredible penmanship on both letters.

rio

lol you better be ready for the Ame x Tefmet crowd to throw hands

JaveyDones

Oh my heart 😭😭😭

Mack Whaley

Okay fair - let’s see an Ame x Tefmet x Suvi polycule bahahahaha

Bria A.

Well! I'm sad. Amazing. When it comes to these letters, I just have Hozier singing "imagine being loved by me" on repeat in my head.

Vanessa

Oh, Suvi, babygirl 🥺 (Aabria, I love you, but if I catch you...)

Katie Fesenmeyer

Of course it does. Her parents were Soft and Stone, legendary heros know by everyone in the Citadel. Never heard her grandparents mentioned though. And it was Suvi who couldn't step on the road for some reason. There's something in there.

Witch of the widening horizons

The ache and anger that I feel knowing he didn’t get to read this is sharp. Poignant. Heartbreaking 💔

Chris Young

Whoever’s handwriting is in the image (assuming Aabria), it’s beautiful. Also, I’m sobbing.

Emily Janecdotes

In the future it would be great if you posted the text in the post. PDFs don't automatically resize text the way it does when I read this in the Patreon app or my email, so they're a poor accessibility tool. They work for people who use screen readers, but many people have some level of vision loss but not at a point where they use a screen reader, and the PDF "zoom and scroll" sucks, even if it's something we are used to.

golove.

My heart can't keep doing this ya'll!

The Witch of the Written Word

Aabria posted on Tumblr that this is not her handwriting bc (from her own words) its often hard for anyone but her to read some of her own handwriting, but she did post a lovely photo of her copy of Sworn's letter!

The Wizard Strike

i think suvi x tefmet would be more interesting/fun

Katlynn

Absolutely diabolical. Amazing as always Aabria! I’m so sad

Lavellan

Ooh, that's totally plausible. So you feel like Silence was hamming it up to be convincing in the attack?

Just a Fox

Gosh darn incredible. I am deceased from heartbreak.

Kate Olive Art

Absolutely devastating and yet not a single error here. Both from Suvi and Aabria. Brilliant.

kittentigger

Oh my gosh utterly devastating and brilliant!! 💜💜💜

icesquirrel

technically nothing incriminating, just devastating

Deja Nell

😭😭😭 Aabria you kill me and I love you for it

Bizarre Little Star

From what I understand the cloaking is usually of their nickname, Suvi for example, Steele said under her breath Suvis full name so it was also cloaked but yeah I doubt there isn't paperwork of some kind that has her name.

Jordan T. Maxwell

😭💔😭💔😭 I've been eagerly awaiting the ability to read this letter, and now that I have my heart is SHATTERED!

Emmeline May

Aabria. No. Where's the naughty water spray emoji when you need it.

Chanelle-Lize

Nothing was scratched out. She didn’t have to discontinue any sentences or go back and reword ANYTHING this time.

CW

gurt

CW

Now I know i have a heart, cus it's breaking 😭😭😭

Rebecca Mackintosh

I am pretty sure it needs to be given directly to the person by the Wizard so it would just read as Sky to him. It was explained before that people could call her Suvi and others that didn’t know her real name would hear Sky. So, I would assume the same applies for written word.

Em_Dragon

THATS REALLY SAD

Glen Petrofski

And silence read this out loud?!?!?!

Alex G

Gyatt damn

Alesha S.

No, I believe he read it himself then burned/destroyed it.

FoxMoth Oak

Damn, I thought Silence might've been covering for Suvi if she had said anything revealing about her loyalties but he really just thinks she's been played

Glen Petrofski

So glad I misheard that. Just thought he read it out loud given how fast rumour mill sped up

Molly Hebert-Wilson

The fact that he didn’t get to read this is the most brutal knowledge.

Elselynn Leighton

Well I didn’t know I needed to weep today but apparently I did

Catloaf

But Silence is one of the five Archmagi who did the spell that cloaked her name. Would that give him some leeway in the rules of name cloaks?

Catloaf

I wonder if Silence will look into Suvi's comment about being warned never to step on a road.

KeyperThePhoenix

Does Silence know Suvi's true name now? Or does there have to be the intent to reveal your name to the specific person?

Alex

He deliberately started a rumor after reading it to himself. I believe it was that Silver was a foreign agent and he seduced & bamboozled Suvi

Catloaf

"The name swallowed...up by your name cloak with the exception of those places in which it was written by one to whom it was given. " In this case, Suvi wrote down the name. Do it mean that the name was not swallowed nor protected by the name cloak?

Kaylyn Pratt

i think it has to specifically be given with intent

Rebecca Mackintosh

Interesting point, I guess it depends on whether or not intent matters. Can the true name only be read by the person the writing was intended for or can it be intercepted?

xanthumn

Yes, please post the text in the body of the post

Kari Ortega

THIS RIGHT HERE, YES! I definitely would risk it all to be loved by the Wizard Sky!

Kael McDonald

@Witch of the Warren of Words Well... Dang. I was firmly in the camp of Silence couldn't possibly see Suvi's name because intent matters and her name cloak would account for such things. But if Silver burned the paper after reading it... Why burn it if it's magically protected? It might just be Storytime Clean Up but that throws a big wrench in the logic I was operating on.

Erika Jones

Uh oh. From the WBN wiki: " The only way to learn the target's true name after the name cloak is cast is to read it, which can only be accomplished if one of the people to whom it was given writes it down after the ceremony."

Lauren

just wanna say thank you for the plain text pdf 🫡♥️

Justme

Down for more of this! Would be a good guest format as well

JacobHunter

So did Silver not get to read this before he was snuffed by the citadel! Please god no. Sworn got his letter and decided to drink himself to death and silver was at deaths stoop when it was delivered. That’s two!

Amelia Tedesco

WE GET TO READ IT BUT HE DIDN’T BEFORE HE DIIIIIEEEEDDD????!!!! 😭

Matt Varney

It’s washed over with name Sky for anyone that hasn’t been given her true name

Bee.Beans

Firstly: please don't read this unless you've listened to all the released episodes and are still trying to understand! Suvi betrayed the Citadel and diverged from the path that she and Eza were 'meant to' tread, the one that would have allowed them to stay together. She asked him to join her in a treasonous act (saving the Grinoe children) and therefore made him complicit. These are not altogether awful things, but they are big and meaningful things to ask of a person, and it hurt him deeply to hear them. He felt betrayed, since he saw himself as a part of the Citadel she was betraying. Not only that, but anyone who knew about Suvi's aims was endangered, and Eza ended up dead at the hands of Steel for his involvement. At the writing of this letter, Suvi didn't yet know Eza would be killed. She didn't even know that Steel would try to have him demoted and then promoted, puppeting him carelessly in whatever way could 'clear Suvi's name'. This was written before the Battle of Twelve-Brooks, before her switching sides was apparent. At this time, Suvi only knew that she had hurt Eza by shattering their expectation of a good life together: Citadel parties, triumphant marches, and common cause. In this letter she in attempting to state that her intention was not to hurt him, but that she is resolute in her turning away from the Citadel. She still loves him, but in the same way that he felt he must stay loyal to his home, she must save the children.

Bee.Beans

God, I never thought of that. Terrifying.

Matt Gilliam

Does anyone know how long of a hiatus before book 2 starts for the WWW? I saw mention of a new game being played after this one finishes book one. Just curious if we know how long we might have to wait to hear more about the world of Umora

Manifesting Good Posture

🤓🤓🤓 technically we also didn't get to read it before he died 🤓🤓🤓

rio

I’m holding out for Book 3 where Suvi has accepted Eza’s death and is ready to meet a sexy Spirit NPC

The Pompous Peasant

Nice sum up there Bee, appreciate it. Cold as steel...she's a wickedly written character.

Elijah Peters

There's a magic thing that you have to do the paper to make people learn your true name he would have just read it as the word sky

The Wizard Subjudice

Ohhh, I'd forgotten about that! OOP. I'm not usually so glad to be wrong!

finnunus

The new long game will be a space adventure media by Aabria starting in January Brennan is going to be the new gm for campaign 4 of critical role starting in October. It may be a few years before we get to Umora depending on how those two things go

Manifesting Good Posture

A question on this, then: when Brennan unilaterally did the "WELCOME, APPRENTICE TO THE ARCHMAGE SILENCE, SUVIRIN KEDBERIKET" fireworks in Port Talon, would we expect there to be any long-term impacts of that? Or is it just - everyone remembers seeing 'sky' in the sky?

Alyssa

The fireworks in Port Talon were before Suvi got her namecloak, so she wasn’t yet the Wizard Sky. She uses Sky as a fake-name while in Port Talon for an interaction or two to not give out her name, but she is not actually the Wizard Sky until a later episode

Clare Robertson-Quinn

I imagine we can expect the next adventure to be about as long as WWW, especially with Brennan doing CR now, and one of the others might want to DM after Aabria’s campaign.

David Stavis

So when Enzo delivered the letter and Silver wouldn't respond, that's probably because he was already robot-ified under the Geas spell by that time. Theoretically if the players alerted on it when they were informed of that detail, they might have made it a goal to go get involved with Silver and potentially stop it - but other goals prevailed and became the thread of their focus, leading to the story we got. Player decisions shape the story. That's good DMing and storytelling right there.

Aviva

Continuing that line of thought, people who saw the fireworks at the time saw Suvi’s full name and remembered it as such. After her name cloaking, they remember it differently and don’t clock the difference.

Aviva

Mmmaybe.

Aviva

Also need the Horner Corner air horn. Can we write a petition for a new emoji?

Aviva

Oh shit. Esotericrow just called you guild mage trash. 🤭

Aviva

Fitting, because my take on that lyric is always a little hornt. Right up there with Glass Animals’ “alright come close, let me show you everything I know” for low key sexy lines to sing.

Katrina Conrad

Me and my gurt (great hurt) will rise above the pettiness. Maybe I have a witch friend, you don't know!

Aviva

AhahahahaHAAA. That a love story with the imperial scion could have a happy ending. You’re funny and I like you!

Aviva

💯

Aviva

*Enter Aabria, in stilettos.*

Manifesting Good Posture

Gotcha! The one thing I'm stuck on is Suvi berating Ame for giving away her name in Port Talon. I don't want to read too much into it - could just be an 'there is risk to me now in case someone tries to hurt me before I get my namecloak' combined 'I am going to berate my sloppy friend Ame for her bad opsec.' If so, that all makes sense given the headspace Suvi was in during Chapter 1, just wanted to know if there were any other interpretations.

Aviva

It’s been a while, but I think that’s just bad opsec vibes. Like, you got busted out past curfew by someone’s mom who doesn’t know your face, and your friend uses your name. But also let slip that you’re a spy. 😂 I think Suvi would have been upset about it even if name cloaking didn’t exist.

The Wizard Sentiment

And now all of us are definitely NOT crying because of how tragic it is. But also, not LAUGHING our asses off cause Archimage Silence know Suvi was down badddddddd 🤭

Tessie Owen

So he read it in . . . Silence? 🤓 (I’ll see myself out)

Carrie Mook Bridgman

Eioghorain said Soft and Stone "lost their minds" because they wanted to continue fighting the Citadel's corruption after having been "pardoned" for interfering with the League of Whispers. As far as we know now, they did not attack Steel. We're pretty sure Steel attacked them. Since our only actual evidence is scars on Steel given by Stone, I suppose they could have attacked her first, but I doubt it.

Carrie Mook Bridgman

At the ceremony, Steel said the name under the ringing of a bell so it would not be heard.

Manifesting Good Posture

Yeah I guess if they wanted to use geas to dispose of them, they could just use them to attack Eighorain. Win-win for the Citadel there. I am probably trying a bit too hard here, I think.

TrashCritical

I am in hell how could you do this to me bravo

Lace Elystra

ok well now i'm crying so thanks

akoyfish

"I do not have the heart to say goodbye to you" oh noooooooo
