The Price of Progress: Book One Cover (WIP Update) (Patreon)

Korrasami Day is right around the corner, and for those who missed the announcement, I plan to kick off a The Legend of Korra webcomic as the new year begins. I'll be working on it alongside my OC webcomic and ongoing NSFW comic. Here's the work so far on the cover for the first book (of 3!).

I really want to make this comic read and look as close to the official comics as my skills will allow, so that meant trying to come up with a cover resembling the official ones we've gotten so far. I'm really not used to doing stuff like this so this one took a bit of trial and error. The final picture in the sequence is what I had originally come up with, but felt it looked a bit too bland and so I tried to go for something more dynamic. I think the composition I settled on is way more interesting and still hints at what the story will involve.

I do also plan to include a little synopsis along with the final cover, to preview the story and make it feel all official-like 😉

This one may come down to the wire, though, as I really want to put it out for the 19th but still have a lot left to do. Hope you guys will like the final product!
