Love y’all’s reactions. Levi’s is really dope. When yall find the time. There is an ova with two episodes that they dedicated to him that show his backstory. I recommend watching it before starting season 3.

OVAs can be anime-only content, spin-offs, side stories, or adaptations of manga or light novel chapters. They can be shorter or longer than a typical anime episode. Whether an OVA is considered canon depends on the anime series. In the case of Attack on Titan the writer has seemingly confirmed that Levi’s ova is cannon to the story.

they are pretty muich special/extra episodes that expand on the story

The dub for this is dope too. I still prefer the sub but as new watchers it might be useful. I saw Naruto in dub on toonami as a kid so that why I say that. Some anime have horrible dubs but this, full metal alchemist l, and death note have very solid dubs.

OVA's are episodes that are not part of ay of the season's but are canon to the show. They give a lot of information about some the characters and relationships between them. However, I'm pretty sure are only available on crunchyroll, which is the preferred site for watching this anime because other ones don't have very accurate subtitles.
