Comparing Daenerys to Kanye and Jk Rowling is insane, but I see the vision 😂 "the haters are my motivators"!

Although its *only* 8000 unsullied, it's worth recognising that these aren't just your average peasant dressed in armor and handed a sword whenever a war starts. If you remember in previous episodes when discussing with the slavers they cover that only a handful of the slaves selected to be unsullied survive, they're drilling and trained constantly and their entire lives are built around perfecting combat. They're essentially the special forces of the era, and she has 8000 of them. I can't remember the exact details but I remember theres a few official videos covering some of the backstory and lore around the unsullied, and it goes through how they got their reputation from being one of the only fighting forces ever to face a dothraki horde in battle and win. Which if we remember back to season 1 when robert brings up concerns about Dany, he explains that if a dothraki horde landed on the shores of westeros it'd be game over - "Only a fool would meet the dothraki in an open field", the unsullied (assuming im remembering correctly) are the only ones to have ever taken that fight, whilst outnumbered, and won. Edit: Found the video, if you want to watch (highly recommend) its a video on youtube called "The Unsullied by Jorah Mormont - Game of Thrones: Histories and Lore" - It's part of a lore series which is narrated by different actors in the show, this one ofc is narrated by jorah's actor. 3000 Unsullied stood against 18000 dothraki, and won.

the lord commander basically wanted to retire as lord of bear island and let jorah rule instead so he just gave his life to the nights watch, this was a little bit before the rebellion. its a rly tragic story bc hes prob the only man in westeros who wasnt too proud to rule until he died and let his son inherit his lands when he was tired of it. he can watch his son rule before he dies and bring honor to their house as Lord and jorah messed it up.

S3E3 requires an upgraded membership? Did I miss something? I’m cool with it, just curious.
