Didn’t expect a fear drop that’s super dope

I'm glad you're watching! Fear gets a lot of hate, and it does admittedly have tougher points to get through - mostly in later seasons. But it's the only spinoff (unless I'm mistaken) that shows the outbreak. Also a point of consideration, we live in a world where you can't believe anything you see online any more. You can also hear the doctor in the ER say something along the lines of "we don't know what's going on," so it wasn't like the medical community had been able to pinpoint the source yet. It's reasonable to expect that, while reports had come in (thinking about Tobias), it wasn't being taken seriously because doctors weren't able to explain what was happening. Especially in large cities where it's more likely to spread the fastest and authorities are seeing seemingly unrelated cases, a lot of this could have been written off as drugs, etc. Reminds me of the "bath salts" situation in the early 2000s. But yeah, I just upped my membership so I could watch with you. Thanks for keeping us entertained!

The bath salts thing 100% came to mind. It's super interesting -- Really like seeing the early days of this and excited to see where it goes. Appreciate the support!

Excited to rewatch this with y’all! I watched the first two seasons when airing and I remember enjoying it quite a bit. This first episode is actually really good and I think a great setup for it all. Also the actor who you recognized as the student is Leon Thomas III who played Andre on Victorious and other roles! He’s more in music now and his song Mutt is the one y’all have probably heard lol.

Jake McDonald

u quit before the best (or maybe 2nd best) season :D

just saw yall are reacting to this and super excited, not sure if its mentioned in comments in future episodes but if u want an idea of the timeline, the finale of season 1 of the main TWD show takes place the same day as the finale of season 3 of FTWD so its basically 3 entire seasons before rick even wakes up

chase

i might be one of the few that actually prefers this show over the original
