I don't think they could go around the wall because they cant go threw water the only way was getting a dragon the wall has magic in it so does a dragon that's why this plan was stupid because it didn't matter to Cersei anyway we gave the Knight King what he needed a dragon

I think it's implied The Night King has prescient abilities like Bran as well. Hence why he could see Bran even when he was warging. The dragon was what he was waiting for all along. They could have marched on the Wall years ago otherwise.

Well it's been real but this is where I get off the GOT train. Without spoiling anything, I'll say this about season 8: Dan and Dave are lucky Roe V. Wade was overturned AFTER season 8 was released.

The anticipation of "the bad" coming is honestly quite funny :D I'm really excited to see how you feel about the last season when you've been expecting the quality shift the whole time. It being rushed is definitely a factor in why people start to dislike it. It is a bit silly that they keep travelling back and forth, while the White Walkers (who are said to never be exhausted and never sleep) just barely make any progress at all. Personally I don't care too much about that, but it is noticable for me at least. Definitely really excited to see how you feel about the last season, I hope you enjoy it more than the average person ^^
