So the reason they were losing in the stepstones, is because the triarchy was playing pretty much the only tactic that has ever or can ever really work against dragons: guerrilla warfare. During Aegons Conquest, one of his sisters and her dragon Meraxes were slain by the dornish who were the first to use this type of fighting style against dragons - You can't face them in the open field, you can't hide in a castle, the only way you can defend against them is to go where they cannot: Deep caves. The dornish used hit and run tactics to attack forces then immediately retreat deep into cave systems where the dragons could not do anything, and they were the original inventors of the Scorpion ballista you saw in GoT and will also see in this series. During the conquest the dornish managed to land a super lucky shot into Meraxes' eye, killing the dragon and her rider. Dorne is the only kingdom that were able to withstand and fight back effectively against the targaryens. In GOT Qyburn is shown as "inventing" it, but it's moreso he researched the original technology dorne used, and managed to reverse engineer it, upgrade it and put it into mass production. But aye the triarchy are using these hit and run tactics the same as Dorne did, make small, quick attacks on land and against ships, then immediately scurry back into a deep cave network, where dragons cannot reach, and where it'd be suicide for an attacking force to try and push into.

erika is right; it is grey scale the crab feeder has! he’s at the stage where he’s starting to lose his mind so next step would be a stone man like the ones that attack jorah and tyrion when they sailed through valyria. matt smith is the actor playing daemon; he was the 11th doctor in doctor who. when alicent said “aegon came quickly and without fuss” she didn’t realize how insensitive it sounded because rhaenyra’s mom and her brother died in childbirth, which is why everyone looked at each other awkwardly. viserys is also sharing his wine with a 2 year old aegon in the wheelhouse, not sure if you guys saw lol. one of rhaenyra’s nicknames is “the realm’s delight” which is what viserys referred to her as when he was talking to alicent about his dream when they were by the fire. viserys is set on rhaenyra being the heir the iron throne; it’s everyone around him trying to sow seeds of doubt and now we’re seeing how viserys is struggling with his decision and wondering if it was the right one.
