Frank Dillane (Nick), requested to leave the show. Dillane asked to be written off Season 3 so he could pursue other career opportunities and move on to different projects.

It’s sad to see Nick go but in my opinion this is the best season so far.

2 episode after the episode i was most looking forward to, is the episode im looking the least forward to :( and IMO this would mark the start of the downfall but thats mostly the 2nd half of this season and next, nicks actor is actually british irl (like alot of twd actors) so ya like other people said he was feeling homesick and has mostly been doing UK based films ever since wouldve loved to see what this show couldve done with travis/nick a little longer both were my fav characters

This is TWICE now that we've lost a great character because the actor wanted out. Can't really blame the writers for it I guess but Nick was definitely one of the fundamental characters in the show IMO. He should've just died sacrificing himself at the dam.

Jake McDonald

The ONLY silver lining i see in this is that (even tho it was the actors descision not the shows), in this show nobody is really safe. there isnt even a clear main character like rick that u arent worried about cuz u know he isnt going anywhere, every character on this show is at risk

Jake McDonald

forgot how much i enjoyed 4A been so long since ive seen it

Naazir James

I don’t think there was a downfall after season 3 in my opinion but Nick’s death really hit hard tho

Jake McDonald

4b and 5 were rlllly tough for me to get through but maybe itll be better on this rewatch cuz i was a huge nick fanboy - season 6 tho so good hope they make it there

Erika making me laugh today 😅 “Blue flower, red thorns. Blue flower, red thorns.”

Frank Dillane decided to leave the show during season 3 when they fired the original showrunner. He's not the type to star in a lot of projects and msotly does his own thing and he stuck with Fear because he liked the vision the og showrunner had for the show sadly. He didn't want to stay on without portraying the story and character that was originally planned.

yeah for sure someone has to fill his place and they just introduced morgan so i guess he has to fill the void
