yes pretty sure Aeomond was trying to kill Aegon the whole time even when he used the fire on him and when Cole caught him with his sword drawn

ramon carter

regarding Vhagar the blacks need to use multiple dragons to kill her in my opinion like Daemon said in episode 1 Caraxes and Meleys together would defeat Vhagar

Mari

Hey guys! 💞 Some info on the tapestry that we see in the intro if you’re interested. It follows Targaryen history from Valyria -> present day Main scenes shown: 1. The Freehold of Valyria – The great Valyrian civilization at its height, where dragons and dragonlords first flourished. 2. Ancient Valyrian blood magic – A mysterious ritual suggesting the magical bond between Valyrians and dragons. 3. The Doom of Valyria – The cataclysm that destroyed the Valyrian Empire, leaving House Targaryen among the few survivors. 4. Aegon's Conquest – Aegon I Targaryen and his sisters, Visenya and Rhaenys, fly Balerion, Vhagar, and Meraxes to conquer Westeros. 5. The Burning of Harrenhal and the Field of Fire – Two decisive victories during the conquest. 6. The Seven Kingdoms submit – Various great houses bend the knee to Aegon 7. The founding of King's Landing and the Red Keep – The establishment of Targaryen rule over Westeros. 8. The death of Maegor the Cruel – Maegor's reign ends with his mysterious death upon the Iron Throne. 9. King Jaehaerys I and Queen Alysanne – The peaceful "Golden Age" of Targaryen rule. 10. The Great Council of Harrenhal (101 AC) – Viserys is chosen over Rhaenys as heir to the throne, setting up the succession crisis - we see this in S1E1 11. The split between the Greens and the Blacks – The tapestry literally divides, showing the realm breaking into two factions. 12. Aegon II on the Iron Throne and Rhaenyra on Dragonstone – The rival monarchs each claim to be the rightful ruler. 13. Lucerys Velaryon's death – The killing of Luke and Arrax by Vhagar at Storm's End, which sparks open war. Then as season 2 progresses we get additions with things that happen each episode such as the death of Prince Jaehaerys and the hanging of the rat catchers. You’ll see changes happen at the end so keep an eye out!
