You might not know him, but the guy working for Van Zant who was an informant for the police and who called in the bank job to the cops was the punk/metal rock artist Henry Rollins.

The situation with Charlene being at the house with the cops before Chris arrived and she gave him a warning signal, started with Hank Azaria working with the cops to bring Charlene to that location (after the cops threatened him with charges for smuggling cigarettes).. Then Charlene called Chris after some persuasion from Sgt. Drucker, to lure him there but at last minute she gave him that warning sign. It had nothing to do with Nate/Jon Voight. Nate was loyal to Neil/Robert De Niro and the crew the whole time. It didn't really make sense though when the cops stopped Chris in the street and let him go after seeing his license and registration. They didn't even have a photo of Chris so they could recognize who they were looking for?

He also appeared in the 2008-2014 tv series 'Sons of Anarchy'.
