Great question about the tribe of Benjamin-Long explanation 🥰: Remember Saul who was the first king of Israel was from the tribe of Benjamin and then of course was replaced by David from the tribe of Judah. Then after Solomon died and his successor Rehoboam gave a terrible response to some laborers who had labored under Solomon, the 10 tribes (Northern Kingdom) left but Benjamin stayed with Judah. So Benjamin and Judah are considered one area-Judea and the Northern Kingdom made Samaria their capital eventually. BTW the Levites went back to Judea b/c the Northern Tribes started turning away from Yahweh under their now King, Jeroboam. Benjamin became the smallest tribe b/c of that incident you just read that happened in the Book of Judges Chps 19-21. Another interesting fact: Mordecai the Uncle of Queen Esther was also of the tribe of Benjamin.

Matthew, who paid off his family’s debt was a shepherd who met Jesus in Bethlehem as a baby. It is why he said I am going to meet my maker again. His story is in the episodes, the Shepherd and Christmas with the chosen. Thank you for your great reaction. God bless.
