I’m not sure if Dedra knew that Syril was dead, or if she was just shaken by what she had unleashed. Either way she straightened her uniform like she was trying to smooth out the genocide wrinkles. She’s going back to work. Cassian asking Syril “Who are you?” was an existential question. At that moment Syril no longer knew who he was. The entire show he was dedicated to law and order, and believed that the Empire represented that. Then he saw what that belief led to. He was lied to for years by the woman he had complete belief in, who used him as a pawn to lure the Ghormans into a massacre. Dreena’s desperate plea for help on the radio always gets me. There is no one to help the Ghormans, and the Empire is spinning it as their fault. This was a great episode, but in my opinion the best episode of the series is still to come.

They were chanting, "We are the Ghor, the galaxy is watching." They were thinking the cameras would bring sympathy to their plight, instead, they were used to create the final propaganda against them.
