Taylor Swift - Grammy #2

Her vocals in these performances are out of this world, but I really love how her voice has developed in the nine years since this was filmed. Her stamina, too. When you watch the Eras Tour (which I sent just a few hours ago), keep in mind she does everything you see there plus costume changes and the rehearsal and all… Not just two or three nights in a row, but sometimes six nights in a row. And using her voice like that and not blowing it out before she hits the final set? Even if it was just one night a week? At my best, I couldn’t have done that. And that’s saying something, since I did a lot of breath training and could hold my breath for four minutes straight as a kid. Honestly you might need to watch the Eras Tour in two halves, since it’s so long. Let me know if you can’t get to recording it this week so I have a reminder to do a free trial on Vimeo on a different email address. 😂 Thanks as always for reacting, Popz! And if your CD delivers on time, you oughtta be getting Taylor’s new album on April 19th, when it comes out. I have NO idea what she’s got in store for us this time. As an aside, I agree about the Grammy’s. Yeah, Taylor won this year, but I think Reputation deserved it more than Midnights. It’s just about whether she’s in favor or out of favor. If they think she’s in line or out of line. That’s what I think, anyway, and I actually really liked Midnights. It’s about what sells, not what’s best musically. I’m none too interested in that, myself. But clearly Taylor cares, which makes me kinda sad.

These performances are soo good.. and I agree, I had a whole lot of breathing exercises as a young person too and there is no way I could have kept up with her schedule..LOL!!
