Oops!! Hit the wrong button.. so, we have a concert today instead of Friday!! 🤣.. Great Concert and a Fantastic ending to it!! The Flaming End and walk off was the Perfect way to end the show!!

The encore that closes the show is a recitation set to music of Baudelaire's "L'horloge" (The Clock). Baudelaire is Mylène's favorite poet and a major source of inspiration for a lot of her work. He and Poe lurk in the background of a lot of her songs and performances. She also opened her very first live show with a recitation of this same poem. On the costumes - their creator is Jean Paul Gaultier. Here's a recent article about him: https://www.nssmag.com/en/fashion/40911/5-things-jean-paul-gaultier-brought-to-fashion "2019" even includes "The Marinière" (sailorette) mentioned in the article - or more accurately "The Marinier" since without counterfeit, Mylène is a boy in this song.
