Welcome to The Quarter Quell episode of the House of Hunger Games!!!

Catching Fire is THAT movie. A sequel that surpasses its predecessor in every imaginable way. Claira and I went HAM talking about why this movie is so good, but also talked about

  • who almost played Finnick and Johanna
  • why the sugar cube scene is THAT scene
  • learning about the previous Quarter Quells
  • The stupid poisonous fog, could we survive (obviously, I could)
  • what is the 21st-century celeb equivalent to Katniss and Peeta?

We really hope you enjoy the episode! By time this episode is published, I have already seen Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and we should have the episode prepped for Roomies Friday (if not, for sure the normal Tuesday)

May the Odds Be Ever In Your Favor

My favorite part of the book is Katniss freaking out and thinking Finnick’s killing Peeta bc she’s never seen someone give CPR before lol

I agree that the jabber jays are the worst part because they have to think about how did the capital get voices of their loved ones in pain. So you can try to tune them out but the whole time you’ll wonder how they were tortured and if they are okay.
