Also, hopefully you'll enjoy Fate/Apocrypha. Just hope you'll finish this storyline your walking into. Haven't seen many reactors watch this so you'll be the first.

HOTROD AMVs

You are in for a ride, the action in the climax of this show is INSANE + Mordred is basically a younger hot headed version of artoria (who you call saber 😅), she was born using magecraft using saber as a model that's why they look basically the same.

Apocrypha lets go! Has some of my favorite Servants in all of Fate. The beginning scene with the big battle was a flash forward to later in the series. Honestly great choice to open it up with that cause it really shows the scale of the Great Holy Grail War Important Lore to note just to make sure you got it: This is in an alternate timeline where the Fuyuki Grail Wars stopped at the third because Darnic and the Nazis stole the grail. So Fate/Zero and Stay Night did not happen. The current events of the show are happening when UBW/HF would have happened. Also when the grail got stolen Darnic leaked the info of the grail out to the mage public so that he could see some test runs, these are pseudo-grail wars and can usually only have like 5 servants cause they lack the greater grail. Since Zero did not happen here Waver and Kayneth participated in one of those pseudo-grail wars, and that's how Waver got his character development in this timeline and became the new Lord El-Melloi. Also that thing Sisigo asked for as payment was the preserved corpse of baby Hydra. All those things in tanks were Homunculi like Illya and Iri except not of the same quality. Mordred is a girl but like Saber had to pretend to be a boy cause only men could ascend the throne and that's what Mordred wanted.

Sisigo/mordred are such a great master/servant pair and have a really refreshing dynamic. They carry the series imo. This is your first big fate spinoff I think. There’s a lot of fate adaptations by a lot of different studios, but two of them stand out. You’ve already seen what ufotable has to offer. Type Moon x ufotable is notable because they have a unique long term partnership (ufotable is basically locked in until they say otherwise to doing adaptations and ops for all of the main line type moon stories aka F/SN, Garden of Sinners, Mahoyo, and Tsukihime) you don’t really see elsewhere in anime. The other big studio that does a lot of Fate stuff is A-1 Pictures. They’re notable because they did Apocrypha, almost all of the TVCMs for FGO, and they’re doing F/SF. And there’s two guys at A-1, Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, that handle a lot of the action scenes for all of those anime. So you know the fights in this one will be top notch.
